Went there with friends the other night, the tables are so close (less than 1 ft apart), they certainly try to jam people in. The restaurant was extremely noisy, because everybody had to scream, you can hardly have a conversation there. The food was average, not great for the price they charge. The worst thing was the service, as soon as they seated us, they came several times to push us to order. When we have ordered desserts, they wanted us to settle the bill even before our desserts arrived. There were so much hassle that we finally settled the bill, although we would prefer to finish our coffee first. Once we settled the bill, they literally took our unfinished coffee away from the table and said "see you next time". What a terrible experience!. Do you know what, they even charge a cover charge of GBP7.50. Would never go there again.

Went there last night. Good atmosphere ie buzzy and noisy BUT the tables are soooo close together that you actually end up dinning with people that might not have wanted to. Can't help feeling that they have crammed extra tables in just to squeeze every penny they can out of the place. Courgette flowers were poorly cooked ie no stuffing, thick slightly soggy batter and rather thick courgettes; bream was nicely cooked but three differrent pasta dishes were poor - I'm afraid if an Italian restaurant can't do pasta there is something pretty wrong! The service was a little chaotic but friendly.

As a once regular customer I have gone off this place. I've had to queue for tables all too often, and the other night there was a drunk girl sitting behind me, literally SCREAMING her head off, disturbing all the other customers, to the point that the couple next to us left -and the management didn't seem to care less. Food fantastic -service very disappointing.

The food IS good here and the atmosphere buzzing but the service is truly shocking; the most atrocious aspect of last nights dining experience was when two of the main courses when plonked down on the table while several people were still eating their starters. The tables are lethally close together, and you do get bashed about a bit by the waitors. We have in the past, recommended this restaurant but last night we were truly embarrassed as our friends looked on aghast.

i think that zianis is a place which grows on you. it may not be exactly what your expecting but its fun. go there with some friends that you actually want to spend time with. the intimate atmosphere; created by both the lack of space and the waiters inibility to remember anything but your name and life story, is charming and a rare find in todays preference for large, chain, faceless restaurants. you know exactly who runs it and recognise all the waiters. zianis has a personality.

After eating at this restaurant I felt stressed out, tired and was bruised from being knocked by waiters and other diners. No way was a birthday dinner here , relaxing.

The service was poor.They forgot our drinks orders and brought starters and main dishes together.The tables are way too close together. THE STAFF WERE RUDE AND RUSHED.

Jimmy get your facts right after 25 years living in London don't bother going to trendy Italian Restaurants and carry on at eating at Tapas and drinking ALE and CAVA. That’s what I think you appreciate most and forget about wine lists.
