Cafe Koha

Although we had a bit of trouble finding Koha, when we did eventually find it down a small side street it was surprisingly empty. We were looking forward to it having read the previous reviews. In fact, the only thing that slightly let it down was butter provided in sachets at the beginning of the meal. Apart from that, the meal was delicious and very well priced. The staff were attentive without being overbearing at all. 10/10 - make an effort to find it, you won't be disappointed.

Proved to be an outstanding place to celebrate my b'day.
Pleased with the venue, all my requirements were dealt with effeciently and the flow of the evening went great, with all my 50 -60 guests being entertained and well looked after.
There was dedication shown to the needs of my party and staff made ir personal business to be attentive and responded well to my needs for guestlist, music, use of technology, the food format etc.
During summer, this will be a great spot to be in London

I had my b'day at Koha - and having seen this page - i felt to post my feedback too.
My evening was most memorable, and was made so by the flexibility of the venue, accomodating staff during the evening and before the celebrations with getting everything I requested in place. We all really enjoyed the atmosphere and totally dedicated space. We ordered platters and they were presented well in tables across the downstairs, making everyone feel included and part of the celebrations.
I had booked another place for my b'day - before booking Koha, but once i was on the phone to staff who listened while I run through a list of requests, I made the swap instantly based on the friendliness and attention to detail i was shown.
Good decision turns out...
Keep it up guys!

excellent atmosphere,
very good food. The wines are not as excellent as former comments (from a French prospective, maybe biaised) but the place is really, really nice in couple or with a few friends, cosy atmosphere.
Definitely a recurring choice to go often and feel comfortable.

Really quite disappointing given some of the earlier remarks. The starter of squid was simple but good. The main course, Koha's version of a burger, was very disappointing. Very plain and not particularly pleasant. Overall, we would have been better off with a pizza somewhere else.

Went on the strength of this website and agree with you all. Well worth a visit.
Food was superb, wine delightiful and service attentive and prompt yet never pushy.
Worked out at about £60.00 per head all in. Thats 3 courses, coffee wine and drinks.
Wouldn't hestitate to return and would recommend to all.

Somewhere you can go to enjoy an extensive wine list, great food and most importantly a great atmosphere with excellent service, I was made to feel like i was the only customer in the Restaurant.

This is what most restaurants in London aspire to be like. Welcoming, atmospheric, homely but not overbearing, reliable, and serving rich food!
I often eat here and there are several dishes I would recommend. The squid starter is a favourite, and their salmon, sole, chicken and venison main courses are excellent. The service is very good, and their head waiter (an Italian guy with glasses) is so welcoming and friendly.
If there's one thing I could fault Koha for, it's the extra salt added to their dishes. If you're sensitive about your salt intake, request to not have any salt added... Also, they put on a £1 cover charge in addition to the service charge; I believe this is because some people turn up just for drinks...
All in all, definitely recommended.
