Milk and Honey

The People leaving bad reviews for Milk & Honey are quite frankly idiots! I can safely assume that they have absolutley no idea what they are talking about.
The place is fantastic, the staff superb. Their knowledge of drinks, cigars etc is second to none and they are passionate about what they do. They all also happen to be very nice people. I can only imagine any frosty reception recieved was because the guests themselves were being assholes and thinking they were something special to be sitting in Milk & Honey. Get over yourselfs. The only time I have ever seen a member of staff being curt to a guest is when the guest has been downright rude to them. Prehaps you guys should take a look at your own attitudes first!
Brillant cockatils, expertly mixed, great relaxing atmosphere - a truly speical place of which more restaurantuers/bar owners/managers (such as myself) can learn a thing or two!

I have been lucky enough to experience the lavish interiors and delicious cocktails that Milk and Honey has to offer - albeit as a guest and not a member. During both visits the service was professional with a warm touch, and the drinks were exquisite; with flavours that linger on the palette long after your heart momentarily stops from looking at the bill. Yes, it is expensive, but for very high quality drinks in non-cramped surroundings with close friends, who really minds paying a little extra?

The drinks are sublime, honestly, but you can get almost as good at any Match bar. I used to be a member and cancelled it last year after a girl chucked a pack of fags at our table. I told the waiter politely and he did nothing. So much for their 'house rules' which are just hypocritical. They go out of their way not be pretentious, only to be just that. 'Civilised late night drinking'... sometimes.
Good location and great drinks but service and the way you are treated can vary enormously and consistency is what I would expect from a member's bar which costs around £300 a year to join.

Once you manage to find the place wih it's plain black doors and no sign, you will find it to be absolutley brilliant. The loveliest and polite staff, the best cocktails I have ever tasted my favourite being the 'Honey Smash' and the most wonderful and chilled out music and atmosphere. A truly top notch place to begin an evening or go on a date. 10/10.

I am a member of this place and people on this website don't know what they are talking about. This is one place you can get 1000's of different cocktails and thats the only reason you go here for cocktails and atmosphere. It has a brilliant atmosphere and service is 'slightly' slow because everyone makes different cocktails. If you want fast, speedy service go the bar next door. This is a classy place and if you can find a member to take you, the red room is fantastic. This place is 'THE BEST' for cocktails. Me and atleast 20 of my friends have been to so many cocktail places but there is no place better than this. Order a cocktail (Ask the waiter to recommend one), sit back and enjoy. I am willing to put my money on it that most people here are people that go to places like yates and are after a beer. if thats the case, dont bother with this place!!!

We booked a table at 6.30pm for 10 people for cocktails before moving on to dinner reservations at 8pm. 10 highly dressed up people at 6.30pm were told they couldn't come in till they opened at 7pm. Accepting their mistake but making no effort to put it right, we were stood in the Star pub next door having a pint. We should have stayed because when we finally entered at 7pm - with a huge wait for coat check and ordering. We gulped them down and had to rush on for dinner. The seating was terrible and cramped in what was a pokey uninspiring place at best. A joke!

Possibly the worst bar in London, bad service accompanied with a superior attitude from the staff - we were planning on joining, seated under the air conditioning when the bar was empty, took the staff 20 minutes to get 4 drinks and still managed to get it wrong. To cap it all we were asked to leave because the staff wanted to celebrate gaining some award - there's a couple I would be quite happy to give them!

It's a bar. Simple. How do people expect a members bar to differ? You can always get a table (at my age that is important), the drinks are good, no difference in price to anywhere else that serves decent booze. The staff have always been friendly and as for the other punters who cares, if you are out with your mates do you honestly care what other people are up to? That said everyone I have bumped into has always been friendly. The only negative is it is stupidly dark.

Overrated at best. We are not members but made reservations with no problem for 9pm on a Thurs night. We were looking for a quiet place where there would be no hassles...we left after one drink. We were seated next to the loudest table at the bar we were allowed in (there are a few rooms) and it's so cramped and dark, it was unformfortable. If you like holding a candle up to be able to see the menu - this place is for you. While the drinks were well mixed, overall, it's nothing special

I have no idea what the excitement is about, the place is tiny and incredibly dark and dingy, (you can barley see the menu let alone the person next to you), staff could try harder to be friendly, the only smile we got was when paying the bill, it’s completely overpriced and as for the food, don’t bother.
I'm really unimpressed, I don’t suggest becoming a member as you can get in as a non member from 6-11pm
