Unfortunately i had a smiliar experience to Mindy where my chicken satay arrived and it was raw and frozen in the middle! The food was disgusting and the service matched. I will never go to any 'Thai Square' again!

Despite being fairly busy, they managed to find seating for 20 people (15 + 5) on close, but not quite adjacent, tables, in under 20 minutes, early-evening, mid-week. They recommended the 5-course "set menu" to "make the food come more quickly and all at the same time for all persons".
Lighting seemed a little dark, at first, but didn't turn out to be a problem. Interior walls are pebble-dashed inside! but we weren't there for the decor.
Meal was excellent, portions were reasonable size and hot. No food went to waste. All tasted good. Staff were attentive and efficient, and very polite.
Maybe slightly pricey by a couple of quid per person, but not eye-wateringly excessive.
Nothing bad to report.

I went to Thai Square in Angel last night, and thought it was a great place for going with a group of friends before a night out. The restaurant interior is nice - grey walls are a bit strange and its a bit crowded - but there's a nice atmosphere.
The food was lovely. We shared 2 platters of starters between us, and had variious curries, chicken and beef dishes for main which were all delicious.
The staff were very friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. My friend had brought up a birthday cake earlier in the day and they brought this out for me with candles burning and all the staff sang happy birthday!
If you want somewhere reasonably priced, very centrally located in Angel, to have dinner before heading out for the night this is definitely the place.

My friends and I met up at this restaurant to have a meal. We started with drinks - Mango Juice. When they arrived our drinks consisted of 75% ice 25 juice. We asked for a fairer ratio of Juice to Ice and the waitress literally made a tut and slammed our new drinks on the table. Our meals arrived, not bad but we ordered three bowls of rice and were only served two, After our meal we decided to continue our conversations. Five minutes after paying our bill, and leaving a very generous tip the waitress asked us to leave because other diners wanted to use our table. This was in spite of the restaurant having other empty tables available. The service was shockingly bad, staff discourteous, meal mediocre prices - high! I will not be going to this restaurant again and advise others to avoid it too.

Awful!! Over priced and starters were still part frozen or cold in middle. Had green thai curry for main that was watery and tasteless. I've tasted better thai food served in pubs. The only friendly service came as we left as they expected a tip. We left nothing and will not be going back!

Charmless reception, uninspiring food lacking complexity or depth of flavour. We ate a few mouthsful and left for a much better lunch elsewhere. It seems symptomatic of the place that, despite there being only a few tables occupied, nobody even asked why we were leaving.

I have been here only once but I will definitly be going back. It was busy the evening I went (Saturday) so we had some cocktails at the bar downstairs which was lovely. We didnt wait too long before being seated. The Duck Tamarind was amazing! The service was good, nothing outstanding but it was a great meal with a nice atmosphere so I will definitly be back.

Ate here with a friend last night with slight trepidation after reading the mixed reviews and kind of now wished I hadn't. The service swung between sullen and over the top (we can pour our own wine thanks) and the food incredibly quick to the table - which can't help but raise suspicions. Plates and serving dishes were cold, but the food thankfully not, though bizarrely the crispy seaweed came drenched in half a kilo of granulated sugar. Anyway, I don't think I shall ever venture back there.

Have been here twice, first time was great but second was below standards. Had a christmas dinner and the waitress's were rude, unfriendly and unhappy. Not a smile from anyone the whole evening. Food ordered came out wrong and people were left waiting 20minutes for water. Over charged. Not sure i'll be back.
