Quite possibly the best Indian in London. The food is top notch- they have some unique, authentic dishes. My Favourite was Saag Ghost and Jingha Masala
Really made our day went to Celebrate Special Occasion they really took care of each and every details and made it very special for us.
I think there is new Management and they are really making it work and bring it back to the best. Thanks 'Origin Asia'

When we first walked through the door of Origin Asia it was totally deserted - not even a waiter around. Eventually I found someone lurking around the back of the restaurant who reluctantly showed us to a table.
After over five minutes had gone by I once again had to get up and locate the waiter who was proving harder to find than someone off the missing persons helpline. When the food finally arrived the starter - chicken with yoghurt tasted like a plastic ready meal.
My wife's onion bhajis and somosa tasted over cooked and totally bland. Even the poppadoms, served up our waiter who looked more depressed than a patient at the Priory, tasted oily and bland.
Once the mains came, things got even worse. A watery and bland chicken and spinach concoction from the lunch menu was my delightful choice, complemented by a oily bland bit off nan.
When I complained about the food the waiter looked nonplussed. He said it was famous. Famously bad more like. I also complained about the service to which he responded he was just serving the food - which to be fair was about all he was doing.
So in short if you want an unfriendly, unwelcoming restaurant with bland, uninspiring and over cooked food, Origin Asia is the perfect choice and I would highly recommend it. But if you want a great night out in Richmond try somewhere else.
