Dont touch the lahem meshwi. It was like rubber on my last visit. Shame, because on my previous visit the mixed grill (including of course some lahem meshwi) was almost as good as al-Dar's and much cheaper than Maroush's but nothing like the quality of the latter. Perhaps it's safest to stick to the stews, which other reviews suggest are well cooked, and sit outside for a decent shisha.

Although not a highly decorated, with very simple, bare surroundings, the food here is very authentic, especially the stews (i recommend the green-bean stew) at v.good prices. The service is also quite good, and even though on first appearance it seems abit grimy, you forget it once you taste the food!

Food was resonably priced and extreamily tasty. Very authentic to the Middle East. A single word of arabic was enough to recieve some wonderful treatment which resulted in a complementary desert tray. Good ambience.
