Blah! Blah! Blah!

I'd been really looking forward to eating at Blah Blah Blah for a while after reading such good reviews, mainly on this site, and we finally ate there this Monday for my birthday. Unfortunately it was very disappointing. It was a very quiet night and whilst some restaurants suit quiet very well, Blah Blah Blah was sterile and characterless. The food, though it was presented very well, did not have any of the wonderful flavours that vegetarian food normally has. The worst thing however was that XFM was blasting out from the kitchen, which is open to the restaurant, and clashed with the 'mood music' (Seal, for some reason) in the connecting restaurant. This was what finally drove us to pay our bill and escape before dessert to the Anglesea Arms (delightful since the smoking ban) for cheese and biscuits. Though it may have been asking too much for the chef to actually care about what he was cooking, they should have at least had the professional curteousy to pretend that cared whether or not they had any customers. We no longer wondered why they had so little custom that night. If you do like your dinner presented in pretty little piles and don't care about anything else like taste or ambience, go on a busy night where the many flaws may not be so apparent, but make sure you take advantange of the BYOB at a reasonable £1.45 corkage per person and take plenty!

We went to blah blah blah last night after reading the reviews on here..we were not disappointed! The food was absolutely fantastic, just the right sizes, perfect presentation and tastes divine - recommended highly, waitress service was good, bit of a squeeze with the tables but nothing major..we will certainly be making the journey again.

Ate there last night with 6 others. All three courses were excellent and good value. Efficient service, and appreciated the BYO. I virtually never eat vegetarian, but now know how well vegetarian food can be done. Give it a try, meat eaters!

My Mum, sister and I ate at this restaurant last Saturday, based on the mainly good reviews on this and other restaurant websites. We weren't disappointed. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the menu was varied and the ambience was relaxed. All three courses were delicious (especially the blueberry and amaretto tart) and the bill came to not much more than we had paid for 3 juices and a light, less than mediocre lunch at Neal's Yard (Covent Garden) earlier in the day!

Will definitely eat there again next time I'm in London.

Not a vegetarian nor a relative of the owners (see previous review) but a visitor from Scotland who enjoyed a wonderful meal Sat 5th May. Very well priced, relaxed but with good service, and great food. Just over £90 for three courses for four. I'm already looking forward to going back.

We visited Blah Blah Blah yesterday and we were lucky to get a table as a group of people left early. Wonderful food, nice service and very affordable. BYO Policy keeps the overall price down and it's smoke-free. Highly recommended. Keep up the good service. We had an enjoyable evening and did not feel rushed at all. Thanks.

This is all very strange. A Schizophrenic restaurant! I have eaten at BBB a few times over the last 6 years. Initially wonderful then taking a dip to average a year or two ago but if the meal I had last night is anything to go by they are back on form. The asparagus tart was beautiful and the sweetcorn tostada excellent. White chocolate cheesecake did the job. And all for about £40 for two. I have a friend coming to stay at the end of June and will go back so fingers crossed it's nice restaurant and not nasty restaurant!

I am really amazed how such a bad restaurant can have good reviews. Two times i have been there and I left extremely disspointed. My food last saturday (28/04)was something amazing (badly amazing). Just could not eat! The waiter did not bother to aske me why... So, analysing that, and thinking a little bit, make me wonder if it is not the owner's family or him/herself who is writing these good reviews.

I would eat here dailly if possible. Never had to complain about any thing here apart from food not being piping hot,only but once. This eating place would do well to move from this rundown part of sheperds bush i think . Their prices are very reasonable, food excellent and service could be improved with more smiles and better unifoms. Well done for having NS sooner than later.
