Went to the vegeterian restaurant Blahblahblah in Goldhawk road, Sheperds bush for dinner after a recommendation but was sadly disappointed. The restaurant certainly has a cleaning & hygiene issue if you have an eye for detail. The food was just about okay for the price you pay - nothing great and the service was not quite professional too, with kitchen staff shouting & laughing at each other in their language. Even the music seemed 'Kind of Arabic / Turkish' and loud. Finally the waitress & the manager were too busy counting tips left rather than attending customers still requiring service. If you are looking for a nice evening it's certainly not the place.

I don't understand why people go to so many lengths to write such a bad review about a place that is obviously trying very hard to do the best it can for all customers....We were greeted by a very friendly waitress who through out the night waited on us hand and foot with a big smile and sense of humor. The food was also yummy and not over priced ...it was a little cold at one point but the waitress was soon on the case and all drafts wear closed of.... many thanks guys be back soon

When we visited Blah blah blah on Sat 2nd May' 09, we were told that they had an immense number of people walk in at one time. The very helpful waiter was trying his hardest to please and serve everybody, and he did a extremely good job of it, considering the sudden rush. Althought we had to wait longer, It was well worth it as the food was delicious, and we had a very pleasant evening, as I also found the staff to be very helpful. One of the best vegetarian restaurants we have been to.

This is not a review as I am not a critic, it's just me gibbering on about this evening and our short time in Blah Blah Blah...
For me, this restaurant has no integrity. Dammit, it's rubbish!
It seems happy to seat you but then overlook you, only for you to have to ask for a menu sometime later. OK, I exaggerate, but I have a bad taste in my mouth.
Then they appear happy to make you wait 20 minutes for the wine you have brought in yourselves and happy to tell you that your choice of starter is a bad one. Mind you, they were right. After that, they'll ask you to re use your cutlery for your main course..."can I ask you a favour?" Really not good.
Moving on...they'll not really pay attention when you order and then bring you a side serving of potato to accompany your potato dish. They'll doubt you when you say this is not what you ordered. They'll bring you microwaved, frozen veg - it's obvious - instead, of the steamed veg on the menu. They'll not deny it when you say so. They'll offer you pudding instead. But if you don't fancy that, they'll tell you that you don't know what it is that'll make you happy!
These are all service issues... I'm sorry, I was annoyed. What about the food? Blah served up food that I'd think twice about serving if I had cooked it myself. (Anyone been to Fish in a Tie? but they have SO much else going for them). The Pie & Mash was appreciated more for the fact that veggie pies are a rarity, unless you're in Greggs. The fajitas looked uninspired. The potato cake and mushrooms was fine.
Now, I have no idea why this place is "up there" on the list of veggie restaurants in town. But it really shouldn't be

A group of friends visited Blah Blah Blah and were given excellent service along with great tasting food. Their BYO policy keeps the overall bill low. The atmosphere was warm and pleasant. Although we are not vegetarians, we came here through recommendation and were pleasantly impressed. We highly recommend this restaurant to everyone and I will be celebrating my upcoming birthday to impress my other friends.

My sister and I ate at Blah Blah Blah a couple of weeks ago and thought it was absolutely excellent. I'm surprised that people in other reviews suggest that the food is the kind of standard stuff you'd eat at home - I'm a pretty good cook myself but I still thought the food here was innovative and very tasty (the aubergine schnitzel in particular was delicious, and the mushroom risotto was fresh and yummy without being cloying, which is so often the case in other restaurants). I'm not even vegetarian (my sister is) but I'd happily go there with non-veggie friends too, as I didn't think I was missing out without the meat at all.

i have to agree on some of the reviews below. The service is good but the food is very much average, home cooked food with a slightly expensive prices, 11 pounds for a veg main meal to me is expensive, may be cause i'm a meaty and my wife is veg. okay wouldn't recommend it highly though.
