I chose this restaurant to celebrate my 30th with family who live in London (we are from the cotswolds) . Although a little outside central London it was very easy to find straight after a single tube ride. I was the only vegetarian out of the party, hence why i picked it!, but everyone had a great time, 9 of us altogether on a Friday night. The food was really well priced and delicious, i would have quite liked a mini platter of everything! A very reasonable corkage charge, loved that bit being able to take our own wine! I cant wait to visit London and go again!

We were first time diners and all loved the food and the atmosphere. Great Friday evening and will definitely be re visiting. Though we were all full, they provided us a small portion of the desserts to try and these were devine. Will have the nice chesse cake next time.

We visited to this nice restaurant for the first time, yesterday and were very impressed. The dishes were nicely presented and tasted out of this world. The staffs were friendly and the service was prompt. We had a great time and we will be returning, hopefully very soon. A bigger choice of desserts will be appreciated. Highly recommended.

Excellent cusine. We all (six in our group) throughly enjoyed all 3 courses.Very obvious, food cooked to perfection with excellent combinations of ingredients and sauces. We particullarily liked the kebabs, fritters and the chimichanga. The crumble and chessecake were also delicious.Love to go back when we can get the group together again.

Food was quite tasty and original. Everything was fresh and well thought out.
Service was prompt and friendly. Atmosphere was cozy, it looks like an old hippy place but jazzed up a bit to be suitable for dates.
Paid £30 for a meal with starter and desert.
Portions are not gigantic but are more than adequate, I didn't leave hungry.

First time visited this nice restaurant through recommendation of friends and won't be the last. Partner and I agreed the food was excellent with good portions and tasted fresh and not over spiced. The porcini sauce accompanying the mushroom/potato cake was excellent and so was the basil tomato sauce with the moussaka. For dessert we had the banana peanut cake and the crumble and both were mouth watering. Keep a seat for us, guy's at blah blah blah very soon.

Great restaurant serving great food with a friendly attitude. Visited on the day they had a jazz evening and our group of 7 thoroughly enjoyed it. We all ordered different dishes so we could have a taste of all on offer and the plates were soon clean. More choice of starters is recommended. Please have music more often and you will see us here more often. Thanks BBBlah for a lovely evening.

Over the past ten years I have regularly been to this restaurant, as it was a favourite of mine. However on a recent (Jan) visit, I was very disappointed with the quality and originality of the food. The starters were unimaginative and of poor quality. I had baked camembert, my partner had vegetable tempura. I was surprised that the camembert consisted of a lump of cheese, melted and served in a dish, with some grated red onions. The latter was not, but was supposed to be a relish. I was expecting camembert rolled in breadcrumbs, baked and set in a mould, not melted liquid. The tempura came with a dip, which was overpowered by tamarind. The batter was flavourless, greasy and seemed to have been cooked in stale oil. I am not proficient at cooking but I think I could have made a better attempt.
The main course was moussaka which was even more disappointing especially as the presentation looked nice. The three small pieces of aubergines were undercooked and poorly seasoned, the mozzarella, sliced tomatoes and béchamel was cold and the accompanying tomato sauce seemed like a tin of cold chopped tomatoes was poured over it. The dish actually tasted horrible. The other main course was linguine. This was definitely better than the moussaka but it was something that could equally be created to a slightly better standard at home. After years of attending blah, blah, blah’s, I will not be going again. The menu has become much less creative than it used to be, the cooking quality and use and variety of ingredients used has plummeted.
