1 Blossom Street Restaurant & Bar

I recently came to 1 Blossom Street and thouroghly enjoyed myself. Its was sunny and we ate in the Garden, It was like paradise in the middle of all the city buzz, such a great find. I had the carpaccio of beef with parmesan and it was perfect, for a main i had the Sea bass and it was just delicious, cooked to perfection and the potato and corgette accomponied it very well. The Staff were attentive and the atmosphere relaxed. I would definately reccomed this restaurant and i will be back.

Was excited about this restaurant, went there for lunch today with parents and sister.

Was dissapointing, service was poor and the food fine.

Good for city types on expense accounts and not much else.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience and just around the corner from the Dennis Severs' House. It was almost deserted on a Friday evening, so we got lots of attentiion from the wait staff. Menu offerings were unusual and appealing. The grilled shrimp salad was outstanding -- a blend of crunchy shoestring potatoes underlying the freshest of greens and shrimp still juicy and tender. Will definitely return, especially in warm weather, when the garden will be open.

I'm not sure what restuarant Yasmine (previous review) ate at, but my experience was fantastic. Even though busy the staff were friendly and the food was excellent. The wine was excellent and the chocolate liquor to finish was sublime.

perhaps the service could have been a little quicker but then again I went at lunch time and my boss was calling me back to the office so maybe I felt under a little more pressure that usual.

That said I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
