I have eaten here over many years and though I quite like it, there are problems.
I occasionally partake of the all day breakfast on a Saturday, I say occasionally, because I find that the prices are a tad too high to do it too regularly.
They have recently put the prices up from £5.95 to £6.25 for the full breakfast and also cut down on their opening hours, which may explain the price hike.
The servers always try to give you the smallest amount of each particular item and then look at you with disdain if you ask for a bit more.
The pancakes have also shrunk in size yet are still being charged at £5.95 to £6.25 for the full version.
I can go to any Wetherspoons pub and have a very well done and pleasantly sized Veggie breakfast for half the price.
Sometimes the main course menus (weekday) have a habit of not being truly savoury, by the inclusion of some totally unnecessary sweetening aspect, which can make the meal less pleasing and should be seriously looked at.
A portion of cake in here usually costs more (around £2.80) than it cost to actually make it – but to be fair doesn’t it everywhere!
I once had reason to mention that I had found a hair in my food – I did not want to make a big fuss, just thought it was worth pointing out and it wasn’t handled too well by the assistant, I think they need to work on their customer service skills.
I would suggest this more as an occasional treat, rather than going on a regular basis, the atmosphere is usually pleasant and the décor is soothing.
I think that this is continues to be a potentially fabulous place to eat, if some of the issues I have raised are addressed.

Best chocolate cake I've ever had! Friendly staff and variety of reasonably priced Veg food ranging from the worthy to the decadent.

This cafe is a godsend...
Bethnal Green consists of cafe upon cafe of the 'greasy spoon' variety, and for vegetarians and healthy eaters Wild Cherry offers a refreshing alternative to beans on toast. Tucked away down a little side street, Wild Cherry boasts a wide variety of organic, fresh ingredients, which can be consumed inside or outside in the cute little flower filled garden.
If I had to say anything negative -the staff are a little bit strange, the cafe is run by a group of women and seem a tad vacant!
Might be all those herbal teas...
