Went there a few days ago by reccomendation and it was deffinately a place with a great atmosphere and quality food, I was pleasantly supprised how friendly and happy the staff were. However the only negative point to make is seeing the chefs standing and staring at us whilst eating. Surely they should be in the kitchen cooking.

I went to The Clay Oven in Kingsbury last night with my brother. He was staying with me for a couple of nights after working in town. I wanted somewhere decent to eat one evening that offered a good vegetarian selection for my brother.
We arrived after a few beers and were immediately taken by the smartness and efficient service. We settled to watch the end of the 20/20 cricket which was shown on multiple screens. It was lovely to see some families enjoying their evening out.
We skipped starters and went for a main course along with one portion of pillau rice and a couple of garlic naans. I had a chicken korma, which was of high quality and had more of a kick (pleasant) than I'm used to, while my brother went for dish containing cheese, peas and onions (sorry I'm not that up on veggie dishes!). He said it was one of the best curries he's ever had.
The really nice thing apart from the meal was the politeness of the staff. My brother left his laptop bag in the restaurant. We were at least 100m away when our waiter caught up with us at the other side of the road. For this service alone, I'll make sure I return.

Garlic Naan arrived burnt the first time around, was sent back. The Head Honcho comes over to tell us "I do not mean to be rude, but if you send the Naan back a second time, we will not take it back." He seemed to have been hired right off the street. Sure enough the second Naan was half-baked, we called the waiter, asked him to bin it and charge us for both Naans since they seemed to be hard up for money. We only had starters and left. The bill had £2.65 for 1 Naan. No surprise we will never go here again.

clay oven lounge has been the best eating experience I have had for this year. The food were cooked with the finest aromatic seasonings that stir your taste buds into a frenzy for more. The service was fast and respectful, the waiters were most attentive to your needs. Friendly faces smiling and on hand to expain what the different dishes were etc.
The atmosphere and decor is light and delightful however, the music can be too loud the table spaces very cosy promoting an intimate setting.
I have visited them for a meal with friends and family at any given opportunity for a well deserved treat.

I tried the Clay Oven Lounge for the fist time. It started off well. I enjoyed the starters and the variety was good. The service was average. They served us quickly but there were only two tables taken in the whole restaurant.
For mains we ordered Karahi Lamb. This was raw and when we complained to the waitress he said no one else had complained. There was no offer to replace it with something else. He took it away and then charged us for it also.
We did not make an issue of it but did not leave a tip becuause of this and will not return again.

i went to the clay oven in kingsbury last weekend with my family and my m8s... the food and service was amazing ... All the staff are quite efficient.. It was a realli good experience as it was my dads 50th birthday.. and i had told the Manager Binod to make sure everything goes well...
Our food took a bit time buh as it was a busy saturday nite its understandable.
After we finished our meal they had dj which actually made my dads birthday special.
i would recommend this place to people who like to have a complete night out good food , good service, beautiful area for dancing.
