Have been to this place about 5 or 6 times now, and it NEVER disappoints!

Food, service and decor are all wonderful.

Last nght tried, for the first time, the profiteroles: so absolutely delicious. Never tasted profiteroles like it.

Try this place, not only is it great value for money, but the food is outstanding!

Been going to Little Bay for years - was a regular in Battersea until the awful fire that closed it down a couple of years back - but Peter maintains that he intends to re-open soon. Get a move on Peter!

Also been to this restaurant at Farringdon which is every bit as good - both in quality of food, service and price as the Battersea branch. Great brasserie food served in a very pleasant, if highly-over-the-top theatrical setting - but I challenge anybody to try and beat the value you get at Little Bay - and it was great to see some of the Battersea staff re-deployed here.

Only ever disappointment for us was the Kilburn branch - food not such a great experience and the bad news is that they don't take credit or debit cards, which is crazy seeing as the other locations do - even worse when they don't tell you in advance when you book and you have to leave you partner as a hostage at the end of your meal while you troll the streets looking for a cash machine - Peter - you need to sort this out!

Mind bogglingly cheap what with the sale so thought I would give it a go. Obviously the quality isn't great but I was perfectly happy with the mussels (cooked adequately, fairly plump in size) followed by plaice in cream and wine with spinach. Due to the low prices I treated myself to a cocktail which they alleged contained 2 shots of alcohol but was unlikely to have been more than one. Still tasted pleasant and not too sweet. Atmosphere was busy and decor is pretty hideous, evoking an am dram props department on a serious time constraint, but nevertheless worth a stop for a very cheap 2 courses which was more enjoyable than I expected.

Went here on Saturday night on their fantastic half price deal.

We had a lovely evening & the opera singer just topped it off.

They deserve to do well. Will definitely be returning.

Little Bay Farringdon is really special and it made my day when I found it. The service is great, the food is better but the price is the best! I can't wait to go back!

Little Bay Farringdon is just the greatest restaurant in London. No fuss, no rules. Just great service and great food. Especially the profiteroles!!! When you eat the profiteroles, it is like your body just melts and you must can't help yourself. It is gorgeous!! GO NOW!

Was very dissapointed with this restaurant. We were placed up these stairs on a table next to the front door which looked like it had been made on Blue Peter. I felt very uneasy sitting up there but thought as the staff were pleasant and the restaurant was busy the food must be good.

Wrong!

I ordered potato skins for starter and main a chicken pasta. Both were warm, if that and tasted of nothing. I thought the restaurant was european but the menu was quite confused. I seriously think that they put on the menu whatever they feel like cooking that day. It wasnt expensive but i wish i had gone somewhere else and actually had something enjoyable to eat.

Great Place to go out..Despite seeing so many negative reviews,,,it didn't disappointed me this time as well..I was there on friday with group of friends and have to say how do they do it with this price..Very good value for money and friendly service..Our waiter was perceptive and well-informed and also explained us for there special party deal of £9.75 for 3 courses.I had mussels,Lamb steak and some how managed to have Apple Cake...everything was fantastic and really in perfect standard..All my freinds had equally enjoyed all their dishes.

I would recomend to anyone...

Having been a fan of Little Bay in Kilburn I was disappointed by this restaurant.

The food was very good but not as well prepared as previously experienced in the Kilburn restaurant. The value would also have been very good if it was not for the terrible service we had.

The service was shocking. The waiter was rude and not particularly competent. At one point the waiter knocked over a candle spilling the wax onto several garments of patrons within our party. Upon us notifying him he implied it was my fault for asking for another drink while he was clearing a few glasses! In a later exchange he told us that wax was easy to get out and walked off. We later were able to talk to the manager who was more reasonable and gave some money towards cleaning the clothes.

The candle incident on top of generally bad and rude service lead to me, for the first time ever, refusing a service charge and not leaving a tip for a meal.

I would not recommend this restaurant , especially as the Little Bay in Kilburn is so much better. If you are thinking of going here, try to get to Kilburn instead. Not only have I had much better experiences there it has a far superior setting and is a much more characterful place.

Fantastic food. Great prices. Lovely atmosphere. Great for intimate meal or group party.

Only complaints - not enough selection on desserts & food arrives too quickly!
