I ham a customer of this restaurant in Farringdon road for a long time and also for the one based in Brighton. The food is deliciously prepared and the quanties just right very good value for money. Either you can bring a group of friends of someone special you cant get it wrong what you see is what you get.
Thrusdays and saturdays you get opera very good fun entertaining. Don't miss it.

One is always anticipating some catch when prices are so extraordinarily keen. Incy wincy portions, dull food, or just a dead beat place with duff service.
Not a bit of it here ! We both had braised pig cheek for HD, slowcooked shoulder of lamb and Chocolate bavarois in a passion fruit cream..yum ! All most satisfactory and good. The house wine was a very safe 'vin de France' which couldn't offend anyone for what it cost, although there wasn't much to say bout it either ! The decor has a hint of theatricality about it but it all adds to the atmosphere. Oh i forgot ..charming service !

FLAT NIGHT OUT IN FARRINGDON!!
Booked a table for 4 in Little Bay, Farringdon on Thursday night. Were hopelessly late arriving but immediately made to feel welcome by the very friendly and genuine staff. Live music = FANTASTIC (if a little annoyingly good looking) and really bought the already great atmosphere to a crescendo!!
Varied menu was taken full advantage of and all agreed the food, for the value was incredible!
Really charismatic staff who went out of their way to spoil the 'birthday girl', private song, bubbles on arrival and personalised dessert - all very gratefully received and a great touch.
Will be back again. Recomend to anyone, but encourage booking as it was busy thrroughout the night!! THANKS!!

Really nice considering the low price and the fact we were a large group.
Liver starter could have done without the slightly soggy bread beneath, and generally i noticed both the liver and mussel starters were significantly smaller than usual, I was happy but friends who had mussels were lucky if they had 8 on the plate. Tasted ok though. Liver was delicious but could have been prepared more carefully.
Pig cheek starter was best by far being hearty and tender, as was both mains of lamb and confit duck. The latter could have benefitted from a richer, more abundant gravy but all mains were generously sized. would have really enjoyed some steaming plates of cabbage, green beans or broccoli but this didn't appear despite being billed.
Wine tasting was fun but went on a bit long though the guy running it was charismatic enough. Not a wine drinker and had to hassle a bit to get the beers I pre ordered. It was a fun Christmas do though the basement was a tad dingy. I do feel this is a value place to eat out and they served us well as a large group. It was one of the more successful work dos I've been to in recent years.
The only issue was the toilets which frankly were yuck. Unisex and blocked, smelly and I really am not a fan of unisex bogs, esp when there are 3 between our group of 60 plus the top floor of a similar number.
Had a good meal but skipped the cheese course as was full to the brim. Value for money yes, inspiring cuisine no...nothing wrong with my experience but won't set the world on fire. Decent enough for the price. Giving 4 for atmosphere as we were subterranean and the toilets were grim.

This place is great. Went here on Saturday lunch time. Not only are they cheap, but the food is good & they bring you bread & offer you tap water as standard.
The staff are always friendly & happy & it has a lovely atmosphere.

I wanted somewhere local to work to celebrate my birthday with family and came across Little Bay (Farringdon) which looked interesting so I booked a table for last night. I'm glad I booked as it was very busy.
The service was excellent, staff were very quick and friendly and it was fantastic value for money. I think we will be visiting quite often to work our way through the menu!
A little gem of a restaurant.

Easy to miss as you walk past, but Little Bay is really worth looking out for. The food was lovely and the prices were fantastic.
The staff were very friendly and exceptionally attentive, keeping glasses topped up throughout.
Really worth a try.

have been going to this restaurant for years and it never disappoints. i have recommended it lots of friends who are just blown away by the prices, especially in London. They update the specials regularly so there is always something different to try, the Sunday roasts are always good, service is great, nothing bad to say!

Had an enjoyable enough early dinner with 2 friends. Sat outside and the wind was doing annoying things to the tablecloth, but they said they had no clips so we grinned and bore it.
The ingredients are not of the freshest highest quality but for the price it represents good value. We had duck, pork belly and lamb. The lamb was meltingly tender, the pork could have done with slower, longer cooking and the duck was pink but skin a bit flabby. All meat portions were generous but I felt the cabbage with the duck was a bit too sweet as it was accompanied by sweet potato. Side dish of broccoli carrots and potatoes wasn't really needed. Good really as the potatoes tasted like a week who's left overs. One diner liked the mash but another said it tasted like cheap margarine.
I didn't get pudding but tried the sorbet which was pleasant if slightly runny. My cocktail took an age to arrive meaning I had to drink quickly as my friends had finished their pudding, even though I ordered it at the same time. Think they could do with an extra member of staff on the floor. Still an enjoyable meal and very inexpensive. Toilets were grubby though.
