Had dinner there saturday night and I am definitely going back. I thought it was really well priced considering the area and the food was spot on. The service was realy friendly and quick too.

This is one of our favourite local places to go. We've been going pretty regularly for 3 years and the pizza is consistently fabulous. The wait staff change very frequently but are always friendly and the two guys who run the restaurant are always floating around somewhere making sure everything is okay.
Get a couple of pizzas (they're all good), a green salad and a pitchet of red wine and you're set for an excellent meal at an incredibly reasonable price. Good for takeaways too.

I have to say that i disagree with Mr. or Mrs. P****D, i have been a customer of alba on and off 3 1/2 years, i have not heard anything bad about alba. but never the less it may have been an one off if so why is this person shy to mention her or his name whats the problem, he or she wants to make a compliant make don't hide like a little baby and speak and talk them i am sure they would not be angry but be glad to know that you were not satisfied with your meal in alba for what ever reason. I think you want attention and this is the way to seek it, well its wrong you should be more grown. Ps. I would recomend this pizzeria to any body who loves pizza's and pasta. O ye and garlic Brads

The worst pizza ever! Over prized an absolute rip off. Need I say more. Lacked flavour. How hard is it to get pizza so wrong
p.s. isn't garlic bread suppose to have garlic on it.

I do not understand what all the fuss is about ! I walk past Alba every day and I always wanted to go because it is always packed with people. What a disappointment ! The pizza were far too salty and not very good. The bresaola was cut too thick and was not very good quality. The service was extremely slow and the value for money is not the best. I would not recommend that place.

This is my local pizza restaurant and I have to say that despite its location, the atmosphere is great and if you like eating alfresco but not sitting on the pavement as is the London norm, it is hard to beat this place. The pizzas are delicious and substantial and put into the shade others offered by a rather well known chain. The staff too are friendly and helpful.
However two things that prevent me from giving it ten out of ten are as follow:
The extras on the pizzas. I have been once and asked for some basil leaves to garnish my pizza. 5 leaves and this cost me 80p. Yesterday my friend asked for asparagus as an extra for her pizza. She got just one and a half and given the size of the pizza, it kind of looked ridiculous. Its only 80p I know but this penny pinching does detract from the otherwise fantastic experience.
This meanness also follows on to the pudding, specifically the banoffee pie. This is the worst example imaginable, I am sorry to say. The biscuit base is absurdly thick but this is counteracted by the dulce de leche (toffee) being about as thin as you might spread butter on a slice of bread. The banana too was sliced thinly and was added sparingly. This was then topped off with an extravagant amount of aerosol cream. To be fair to the restaurant, without us even asking, they removed this from the bill when we expressed our disappointment.
You might think that I am nit picking but honestly, I can't recommend this restaurant enough. Just avoid the banoffee and take heed of the house policy with regard to extra toppings on pizzas and you will thoroughly enjoy yourselves here.

I love this place! The food is consistantly good, and when I booked for a large party of friends to celebrate my birthday the oweners couldn't have done more. I even got a little birthday cake a free shot of Sambucca! The whole place sang happy birthday.
The pizzas a lovely - thin crispy bases, fresh ingredients. In short a fab place to go!!

First time in Alba Pizzeria and I am still shocked. The food was absolutly fantastic, really tasty, no fuss.
The pizza are the way it should be, the pasta (especially the sea food one) is so flavoursome and the dessert feel home made. I could actually taste real coffee in the tiramisu and see fresh cut banana in the banofee pie (yes I had 2 desserts).
One of the best italian restaurant in London in terms of food and value for money. Location and ambience is just ok (music played was good though) and the staff on the day was really helpful.
Will definitivly go back even though it is 5.5 miles away from where I live.
If you want excellence in food and value for money but not too fuss about the deco, go there you wont be dispointed.

Refurbishment is now complete and a good job they've done too. Food was flawless and rich in flavour (the Goat's Cheese pizza is simply supreme) while the mellow interior makes for a pleasant, relaxing evening.
Well worth putting in any effort to get there - bang opposite Clapham North UG station (Norethern Line).
