Excellent food,excellent service,great pricing,good wine list.

Went there before and after my visit to Amalfi Coast,just to compare.I must say the food is as good as any good restaurant on the Amalfi Coast.Would recommend it highly.This is one of the Italian restaurants ethnic Italians go to in London.Made the trips from Golders Green and must say was well worth the effort.

Moved to Southgate recently and visited Fantozzi. Ordered Vegetariana (which is generally my favorite everywhere we go) and some other pizza do not remember( with rocket and beef).

Very poor quality. It was margerita with a lot ( I mean a lot of onion and sweetcorn)

And 2 pieces of red pepper. It was very wet on the middle. Very wet! so difficult to eat.

Will not go again, sorry.

On the plus side the staff was friendly.

If your idea of a good night out is being humiliated by a group of strangers then this is the place to go, and yes I mean the staff. Its a shame because the food was excellent but the staff were rude beyond comprehension. When I first arrived and asked where the toilets were I was greeted with mock incomprehension by the waiter, so I walked off to find them myself. Only to be called back by another waiter toward a group of 6 staff members. This second waiter asked what I needed then directed me back toward the front of the restaurant and told me to go down out of the restaurant and down the street, this all serving to mock me in front of 6 of his colleagues who then proceeded to laugh in my face when I began walking away. My job as a film director means that I have eaten in some of the best and worst restaurants in the world - and I can say that for service this place ranks at the bottom.

We wanted to write this review as I've seen others on here that don't seem a fair reflection of what we've personally experienced.

We always eat at Fantozzi as it consistently serves good food at reasonable prices.

The waiters are very friendly and attentive. The pizzas are amazing, the pasta tasty and the portions are a good size.

The wine is well priced and also the house white is very drinkable and good value, this can't be said of many similar retuarants.

If you want good Italian food in Southgate that is good value with a nice atmosphere then go to Fantozzi.

Well what can I say? Another incredible evening at Fantozzi on Saturday night. Although I order the same every time I enjoy it just as much .. The atmosphere as always was lively and exciting with the birthday song playing more that twice and the staff as enthusiastic every time as if its the first time they had heard it, the staff as helpful and as welcoming as usual and the food well superb! I'm already planning my next visit. Money well spent !! Same time next week perhaps...

I love a bit of Fantozzi’s. The food is amazing; the waiters are all very friendly. You will not get pizza like theirs anywhere else!! It is truly unique. It’s a bonus that is also great value for money. If you love Italian food and great service, Fantozzi is a must for a good night out!

Fantozzi is always my first choice we decide to go out for a meal. For a quick, easy dinner with the kids its perfect. My favourite meal is the Linguine Lobster.... Delicious! We visit Fantozzi on a regular basis we are very familiar with the waiting staff, they always make us feel welcome and greet us with big smiles. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to everyone. For good Italian food and great service, Fantozzi is THE ONE...

I visit Fantozzi on a regular basis and never have I ever experienced poor service and food as previous people have mentioned. The staff can not do enough for you, the service is always incredible and the atomosphere is undescribable. I have been to Fantozzi on a Saturday and I have never felt rushed to finish my meal (no matter how busy the restaurant is) even at its busiest the food never drops in standards and my Mozzarella in Carozza (deep fried mozzarella) and my Crespoline followed by a Chocolate Pyramid and a Cappucino always hits the spot. I would recommend Fantozzi for everyone, families, couples, parties and even vegetarians, there is a large choice to choose from on the menu, it is a great value for money and I can assure you that you will not leave hungry or disappointed.
