Casablanca

Myself and my fiancee dined at Casablanca on a Saturday night at 7pm. The restaurant was quiet at this time and we had a good choice of seating. The waitresses were very pleasant and friendly.We decided to order the Cous Cous Royale for our main courses and the houmous, lamb sausages , Vine leaves and Feta cheese pastries to share as our

The vine leaves were incredibly tender and as my other half said,"Less vingerie, than other places." The Feta cheese pastries very nice and the pastry light. The Houmous was an extremely large portion and pleasant.The Lamb sausages were tender and spicy but one of them was raw on the inside. I sent this back and 2 more arrived which were slightly overcooked. The waitress also apologised. The starters left us feeling well fed.

The Cous cous royale was large in size and very filling. The meat was slightly overcooked (probably because the sausage starter was undercooked) and the cuts of meat had a large amount of fat on them.

In conclusion there aremany good Middle Eastern restaurants in the Bayswater area, so it has alot of competition but Casablanca has good service and the food is good value for the size of the portions.

I have tried most moroccan restaurants in london. but was pleasantly suprised when i founf this little gem.

the food excelent, the service and the welcome fantastic, live music and belly dancing in the right doses.

the final bill for two including a bottle of good moroccan wine came to £55.00 including service.

i always go to casablanca restaurant it's fab, the food's great and the staff are fantastic.I've had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he makes you feels as if you are a princess. Everyone must go and try it, you'll always go back, i do.
