Napule'

The best pizza outside of Naples. I have been consistently impressed by the excelent food in this restaurant and at reasonable prices. The service is variable (probably due to the rush pre Chelsea football matches) but generally very friendly. The atmosphere is a delight and the restaurant is a lovely place to entertain guests or your partner.

Let me say this up front. I'm from Brooklyn, New York where pizza is king and the pizza at Napule was the best I have ever eaten. I can understand that some people are disappointed by the mess that they order but anyone who orders a pizza with have a ton of junk food on it deserves what they get.

My wife and I ordered the simple margrita pizza with basil and it was superb. The quality of the cheese and sauce was excellent and the crust crispy and perfectly done.

The caprese salad with bufalo mozzarella was so creamy and tasty it was nirvana. Anyone who thinks this pizza is not great is just too use to eating Pizza Hut or Pizza Express or Pizza Whatever to truly understand the art of a perfect plain pizza.

It's just like ice cream - if you can't make a good vanilla, the rest of the flavors will probably be bad too.

We had no problem with the service after returning for a second night on a busy Friday night with no reservations, the manager remembered us from 5 days earlier and gave us a table within 15 minutes.

I don't understand where some of these bad reviews are coming from, the food is one of the best in London and the pizza although not typical italian style is 100% authentic napolitan pizza.The seafood pasta and starters are to die for. The waiters are rude but just be rude back, the food is worth it.

A friend said this was genuine Italian cuisine and raved about it but I'm sorry to say that on the two occasions I've tried this place, I've been severely disappointed. The woodfire oven and ambience as you enter lends a certain promise but once you've sat down, things head on to a downward trajectory. Lukewarm starters - I had some abominable meatballs. The pizza was truly mediocre with bits of meat stranded in a sea of tomato sauce. I've been to Italy and I know that while pizza doesn't resemble Pizza Express - neither does it resemble this woeful offering. I'm sorry to say it just looks like the restaurant is saving on ingredients. Wine was horrific and the lighting was oppressive. Local sloanes may be fooled by this but really, don't go.

We found this restaurant by accident. They were very busy and we could not stay long, but they found us a table very quickly. Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent meal with good service. The house wine was excellent and good value and the best coffee I have had in London.

Their pizzas were great, cooked properly and served in a way that you must experience. if you have never eaten in Italy, try this restaurant, you will not be dissappointed

Oh my god! What a mistake!! So we looked at the reviews and decided to take a few friends to an authentic Italian meal. Neither was it authentic nor Italian. The waiters seemed uninspiring as if they were part of the gang-lords from a scene of The Godfather. Not even an glimmer of a smile. Service was dispicable on the pretext "we are full". If you want to come out of Italian food like we did, step in. The bar next door would be a good place to drown you sorrows after the poor meal and service.

Rubbish!! The authentic Italian ambience was a let off as we were victims of some of the worst Italian food we have had in London. Service was atrocious, waiters very rude and to top it up double-charging for items not ordered. If this place is full don't be fooled like we did.

Pizza is one of my favourite food. This place is the best pizza I've had in London. Metro used to be better, but now this place is the daddy. Seriously BOSS. Respect. Nuff said. Out.

I think it is very nice restaurant, and rare thing in London they are doing really nice pizza. I advise to choose a very italian pizza, very simple, as it is the way there are in Italy, and they are excellent in Napule (like Marguerita for example) Nice service. I really like the place. It is good food, and not expensive, which is really rare in London
