After 13 years it's always the best italian restaurant in London. Pizza is one of most delicious that I never have eaten but most of all, typical italian plates prepared in this resturant are special, delicate and tasty. Atmosphere is refined and it seems to be in a typical small alley of South Italy. Staff is very nice and friendlyand you'll be sure to live a great cookery italian experience without leave London.

I am Italian and I consider this place the best place where you can have a real Italian meal. the staff is genuine and friendly and I love them. All the time I have been there, I felt like I was back at home.
I think that people should try and see! You won't regret it.

I went to Napule' yesterday with my girlfriend cause I really fancied a nice pizza and I got bored of Strada. In fact, people kept telling me that this is the best place for pizza in London, so we thought we'd give it a go!
As soon as we got in, I had the impression of a very welcoming and warm place, and I really liked the decor, simple but nice. My girlfriend had a fantastic Margerita, and I went for a Calzone, as I always think it's the best way to see how good a pizzeria really is.
We were both very satisfied and followed it up with a Tiramisu dessert which really was exceptional, you could tell that it was homemade!
Everything was ok about the service, as well: punctual and kind. We will definitively be back soon!

We've been to Napule twice - the first visist resulted in our being happy with the food but subject to poor service. We decided on the strength of the food to go again - this time the service was even worse. We'd booked the day before but they had no record of our booking and shoved us onto a table by the door in an offhand manner. We were in a slight rush but couldn't even order drinks. When we eventually managed to order the main dishes came at different times - 15 minutes apart. We were left with 10 minutes to complete our meal. We didn't receive side salads we'd ordered but the the bill still included them - a further delay while it was correcetd. When we made it clear that we were unhappy the staff shrugged and said "we're very busy". We won't be back.

I mistakenly gave this restaurant two visits, despite reading that the service was awful. how right those reviews were! On our first visit, a super polite mention that the toppings on our pizzas were wrong (meat for a veggie one, mushrooms for someone who was allergic and has asked especially no mushrooms) got a response of 'what do you want me to do about it now?!" We were stunned into silence. later, the waitress came over and muttered a surly apology, with her boss next to her. she said she had misunderstood. I took this to mean I could give this place the benefit of the doubt, and returned with a different friend last night. much worse was to come! I didn't see a member of staff crack a smile all night, except for when they were clearly laughing at customers in Italian (but more of that later) Our bread, ordered as a starter, arrived with the main course, delivered grumpily and, of course, without even a mention of lateness, let alone an apology. When we almost got hit on the head by the pizza board the pizzas are served on, we were scowled at as if it was our fault for having heads. We are very smiley people, it must have taken true effort to not smile back once! after waiting ages for a bill, and being subjected to more scowls and frowns, we found the bill included a bottle of wine we hadn't ordered. obviously when we pointed this out we got a frown and the receipt was snatched back. Usually we are very typically 'English' about these things, and are too timid to speak up, but this time we decided not to pay the full 12.5 discretionary service charge that already been added to the bill, but rather leave a slightly less amount to reflect the service and the errors. When I said, politely, that we would only put the full amount, without tip, on our cards, a waitress who had not been serving us marched over and demanded to know, super aggressively, 'what was wrong with the service?'
Shocked, we mumbled something about the extra bottle of wine, to which she replied in an aggressive tone 'but the table next to you ordered the same wine! thats why i put it on your bill!' ok, i can understand the mistake, but how can anyone speak to a customer like this?!?! we were so shocked at her attitude, which was almost comedically rude. she the proceeded to make it clear she was talking about us rudely and loudly in Italian, with seemingly every other staff member. The irony was, we had fully intended to tip, we just felt like we shouldn't be pushovers and forced into tipping more than we felt the service etc deserved. she then proceeded to charge us the wrong amount, twice, before we left with our tails between our legs, and obviously, didn't leave the tip we had planned. I don't know what the recruitment policy is at Napule, but with attitudes like that and not one member of staff being anything less than rude, it can't be a happy place to work. Needless to say, we won't try again!

Ate here last night. Just came upon it by chance and was really impressed. It looks very coloured and nice from the outside and it is also lovely inside.
The service is really friendly and genuine. We had lovely crostini to start (to share), followed by a very decent pizza and the special pasta with prawns that was really tasty. Overall, a really good find and well recommended.

I am utterly perplexed by some of the bad reviews here. I live just round the corner from Napule and have been several times, never to be disappointed. I've been to Italy a lot and the food ay Napule is on a par with the native cuisine. I'm not a pizza fan so usually give that a miss but the vegetable antipasti is delicious, and the seafood pastas I usually go for are always delicious. I've been here on dates and also in small groups of friends and it is always a treat. I've never found service to be anything other than helpful but unobtrusive. Never imagined Napule would garner such a bad review from anyone!

Usually when I read an appalling review I take sceptical view on things, could that poor punter really have received such dreadful service, perhaps the restaurant was just having a bad day? With Nepule, everything I write about our evening is the gospel truth, only venture there if you dare....
It started fairly promisingly by our group of 6 being seated quickly on what seemed a very busy Sunday night. Service was not particularly friendly with our rather surly waitress struggling to even come and take our orders let alone give us a smile. Eventually we ordered, nothing too taxing, just a couple of pizzas, couple of steaks and pasta. After 1 hr of waiting for our food to arrive we tried to get our waitresses attention, this took about 10 minutes of frantic arm waving. Finally she explained that there had been a problem with not enough dough for the pizzas so they had to go to the other restaurant (?) and get some. We were pretty confused. How long to get our food then? Oh 2 more minutes. 10 minutes later and no food so we asked again. Finally the pasta arrived, then 10 minutes after that the steaks arrived...no sign of the pizza. We decided to ask for the manager who came over and gave us the same story similar to the waitresses but again the apology was weak and impersonal. Eventually the pizza arrived and what a disappointment, too much tomato sauce and only 2 slices of pepperoni! By this stage we were all pretty annoyed and decided that we not going to pay for much more than our beers and starter of foccacia bread and made our way towards the till and to speak to the manager. After 15 minutes of arguing with us (the manager is aggressive, rude and unhelpful) we finally got what we wished for. He then told us we were not welcome in his restaurant ever again, well Mr Manager, I can tell you that we not planning on visiting ever again! Take our advice, don't waste your money in this pathetic attempt of a restaurant.

I live in the area and went to Napule a few years ago and the pizzas and service were so bad that I never considered going back. However last week on a wet monday night my girlfriend and I were in need of sustinence and wandered in at about 10.30 to see if things had changed. The place was busy considering the time and the atmosphere was really homely and warm. The service was fantastic from the moment we walked in and the metro pizza and bruschetta that we shared were excellent and good value as was the wine. So pleased that we gave it another try - it's great to have such a nice Italian in the heart of Fulham.
