Robin Hood Zorro

The service was excellent, the location is accessible and the venue is very beautiful. Now down to the food: IT WAS DELICIOUS! The servings are so big and the prices are very reasonable! I have been to quite a few mexican restaurants but this has to be the best by far.

I think Kris Ellis' review of Robin Hood Zorro is rubbish.

Of course, I was not there last Easter Monday but maybe it was an off day. We went last Christmas day and it was a wonderfully special time... great food, drink and lovely atmosphere.

My only worry about refuting Ellis' unjustified review is that it has made it easy for us to book last minute this year for Christmas. And if word gets out how wonderful Zorro Robin Hood is, we will no longer have the same flexibility....

I had the displeasure of visiting this "restaurant" on Easter Monday and wished I'd stuck to the chocolate.

Our dining experience began with being served a bowl of bread with green mould on it. After pointing this out, we were told that "it was the last loaf and we didn't notice". This was followed by cold sparse ribs covered in sickly hot BBQ sauce.

I then ordered a steak as I preseumed they could not get this wrong but was then served an overcooked piece of rubbery beef that reminded me of my trips to rural France.

The cocktails were also very poor and a lazy mix of anything with tequila.

The name of this restaurant is quite apt as it is pretending to be something it is not.

Try one of the many cafes in the local area, they are much better.

Very very poor.

used to eat at robin hood when they did boiled bacon and cabbage those were the days!!! now they do a lamb stew which i had it wasnt all that bring back boiled beacon please!!!
