Ate here for the first time yesterday. It was AMAZING! Looked a bit bonkers outside (in a good way), and with a name like 'Robin Hood Zorro', I didn't know what to expect! The inside is just as quirky too - half mexican, half Pirates of the Carribean!
But although I loved the decor and style, it was the food that won my heart. I had the chilli con carne lasagne (which the chef informed me was a speciality.) Good lord! It was FANTASTIC! I'm having serious widthdrawl symptoms today. Plus it was freshly cooked, with the waitress asking exactly how spicy I wanted it - perfect! My boyfriend had the tacos, which looked yummy too! It is also EXTREMELY reasonably priced. The service was spot on (the waitress kindly asked if we wanted a jug of water - it's just a little thing, but it really goes a long way.) Absolutely criminal the place wasn't completely packed out on a Friday night. Will definitely go again! Thanks Zorro!

We were in Robin Hood Zorro on a Saturday night, only 5 or 6 other people were there. The Atmosphere was therefore really quiet, and enjoyable with a guitarist/singer!
Nice service of a good quality. The starter to share (a mix) was really good, the main meal was good but not extraordinary, and the cocktails were banal, but for the price it was really alright.

Im gonna keep this short, as I just wrote a novel about this place on Concerthotels.co.uk. The place is perfect if you are looking for a meal before a show at the Lyrics or Apollo. 1) Opens earlier than any other rated restaurant in the area of hammersmith 2) Food is good, we had combo starter which was good and she had enchiladas and I had "Chilli Con Carne Lasagne" which was great. 3) Cocktails and other drinks are priced very well and measures of alcohol were very good. 4) Service is good, especially at 5-6:30 pm as there are not many people in there if anyone (what do you expect at this time of night), which is fine by me, as long as I have some drink and someone to talk to and nice ambience, which was complemented by good (not high volume) background music. 5) Service is better if you put some effort into the conversation with the waitress and I dont mean its not good, but a little effort goes a long way.
Anyway, give it a go, you cant go far wrong !!

My fiance and I love Mexican food and thought we would give this restaurant a go as we were going to Lyric Theatre. We found the restaurant really quaint and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was well priced and delicious. Prawn fajitas and Chicken burrito was lovely. Pudding's were fresh and yummy. Irish coffees were also well made. Added bonus was the singer/guitarist who was brilliant. Would definately recommend and will return. Chef came out to check we were happy with the meal and was most pleasant.

Having passed this place countless times and always sceptical, I stumbled across it here. All the rave reviews convinced my girlfriend and I to take a punt and give this place a go.
Unfortunately, it would have been wiser to stay away. The service was nice enough, the food was ok but bland and the atmosphere was nothing worth mentioning. I'm not sure how all the rave reviews came about but we didn't see or eat anything that was special.
If you can cook OLD EL PASO at home and buy some cheap starters from Iceland, then you have yourself a better deal.

Mexican-English Restaurant. Mexican food cooked with English style. The result is nothing special and definitely not Mexican. The service is good and the atmosphere is ok but the food is nothing more than a medium pub.

Went here after reading previous reviews.
Very easy to find & not far from an underground station.
We dined fairly early & not suprisingly the restaurant wasn't busy.
The service was first class, even the chef paid us a visit to chat to us.
The food was excellent & be warned the portions are on the large side, the combo as a starter is a must.
Overall excellent establishment, worth a visit.
