I recently went to Mumtaz and discovered a whole new world to tickle my taste-buds!!

Food was marvelous! Service was exceptional! Great atmosphere! Staff was friendly and polite! What more could you ask for? I'll definitely be going back to them.

I went to Mumtaz to celebrate a friends birthday recently and we had a wonderful time.

The food was excellent and the service was friendly.

I really loved the beautiful pictures of the Taj Mahal that were dotted around the restaurant. I will definitely be going back again very soon and would recommend this restaurant to all my family and friends.

Don't understand the bad reviews on here!!!!!

I go to Mumtaz several times a year with family and friends and for me, its one of the best places to eat in London.

The waiters are friendly and the food is great, what more could you ask for???

For something mild try the Mumtaz Masala, or if you like a bit of spice, I recommend the Karahi dishes.

Give it a try and don't be fooled by the negative reviews.

My favourite restaurant!!!!

Food is affordable-but excellent!!!!!!

Service is brilliant!!!!!

I love the interior-it's subtle but you can tell that its of amazing quality!!!!

When i first went there was live music-which was awesome!!!!

The whole makes you feel comfortable and at home!!!!!

Not as well advertised as others-but much better most!!!!

The price of the food is unfaultable!!!!

Wonderful food, sent my taste buds into heaven. Just what we needed on a cold London evening, The garlic naan was light and crispy with a nice fluffy centre, almost melt in the mouth. Guess some of the people here aren't too familiar with some of the regional differences in recipes. Some reviews are too vague - what did they not like about the food?

I've always had bad service in London, but no problems here as our waiter was certainly attentive and polite.

We had a great night out and will return here. The prices are higher than normally expected for indian food but this is central London and the corner of Regents Park

This is like an Indian version of Fawlty Towers without any of the humour. Sticky, nasty carpet, cold and uninteresting food, exceptionally dreadful, rude service, 2 tone deaf singers yodelling away in the corner - all in all a memorable night!

Wonderful! Ate here in for my 40th birthday and found the service excellent and the food extraordinarily good - best Indian meal we have ever had.

I'm amazed at these negative reviews here! Our starter, chick pea crispy parcels with chuitney and yoghurt served cold, was superb!!

If there is a better Indian restuarant anywhere I will eat my hat!

We ordered a take away for our office party and the food was good...Though the price were a bit high may be that is attributed to the operating location (Central London).. Otherwise they were prompt in delivering the food and I would certainly like to recommend them for a take away parties....

After eating at this restaurant I will not be going back to it ever again. The service was poor to say the least, and the the food did not match up to the standard of Mumtaz in Bradford. Prices are high, you are better off sticking to the lovely Nando's at least they will treat you as royalty and the food is 100 times better.!!!!!!

Well what can I say. I am asian, and would have to say that this restaurant is cr*p. Food very poor, service absolutely rubbish. Pleae stay away.
