I've been here regularly over the last few years and its reliably very good. Food is great value for money, all the usual staples plus some more unusual offerings, and much better cooking than so many of the bog-standard curry houses. Service is friendly and professional, and you don't need to book.

What a lovely little place. Went there for lunch with a party of ten and had a terrific lunch - the food was excellent (and incredibly reasonable, especially the set meal) plus the staff were just right - helpful and friendly without being too obtrusive. A big table of ten seemed not to faze them in the slightest, and they threw in our poppadoms for free on top of it all! It's great to still see a traditional, hearty, non-tarted-up Indian that's been in business for a couple of decades, still going strong. If only it had flock wall paper and wall paintings it would have been perfect...

Maginificent food. If you want a change from the traditional chicken and lamb dishes and prefer seafood then come to this place, try the monkfish, fried Telapia with lemon rice, there are also the familiar prawn dishes together with various other seafood dishes. The service is very freindly and the new white dining and decor looks great too.

The set lunch menus is value for money, you can get a three course for £5.95, i had onion bhaji, chicken bhuna, vegetable curry, pilloa rice followed by coffee all inclusive in the £5.95. If you want a quick meal at lunch at a cheap price go to this place, the food and service was great too!
