I have eaten at Ferrari's, Bexley on several occasions and have found the food and the staff to be excellent. The food is freshly cooked and presented beautifully. The staff (waiters and Manager) are all attentive, quick and very professional. I find the ambience lively, friendly and buzzing. I always enjoy a visit there, and the prices are very good.

I visited this restuarant for lunch with my wife and son really looking forward to the experience..
We were seated a window table and proceeded to order our food from the waitress.
Nothing too difficult (as i wrongly thought), garlic bread and pizza for my wife and me and fries for my son.
When the food arrived, my wife got her pizza,my son got his fries and i got a goats cheease starter?
I told the waiter i had ordered pizza and i was told it was on its way.
Nobody bothered to inform me the order had been taken wrong and apoligise but instead just left me waiting.
After about 10 minutes i ordered another soft and was told that i would not be charged for it. From this gesture i deduced for myself what had happened.
When my pizza arrived no acknowledgement of a mistake or an apoligy was offered for any inconvenieane.
Also by this time my wife and son had finished eating which spoiled the occassion as the whole idea was to actually eat together at the same time.
If the pizza had been good it would have gone some way towards rescueing the situation but alas i fell well short.
.Not exactly what i would call conducive to a nice dining experience.
I paid the bill and again no apoligy or acknowledgement was offered.
When we left the restuarant nobody said thankyou or even goodbye.
All in all a very dissappointing experience.
I was so appalled i took the time to write to the manager outlining our experience but as it has been over two weeks since i sent the letter i can only deduce that they have treated it with the same level of service as we experienced.

I visited Ferrari's with my family recently, after my parents had told me of a number of enjoyable meals they'd had here quite recently. We went for Sunday lunch, meaning that the restaurant was very busy. However, there is reasonable spacing between tables, so it wasn't intrusively noisy.
Of our group, I was the only one to choose from the à la carte menu and was glad I had done so. Although my starter of a prawn cocktail might not sound particularly exciting, it was simple and delicious, with juicy king prawns. As a main course, I had calves liver with bacon and a cabbage mash. Again, this was not a revolutionary dish, but was executed very well; I enjoyed it immensely. The rest of my family opted for the set menu and, while they enjoyed their meal and thought it very good value, they didn't feel it was exceptional, and envied my choice. I sampled some of the banoffe pie from the set menu for pudding and thought it was great - as rich and sinful as it should be.
The service was friendly and prompt, although not always polished professionalism, with dishes being served and cleared across other members of the group. This was possibly due in part to unwise seating arrangements across one wall, where we did feel a bit crammed in. Also, it was quite dark - I was envious of those who were seated in view of the large windows at the front of the restaurant.
Ferrari's is definitely worth visiting. The fare is traditional Italian and the menu is extensive - as expected - although not particularly original or experimental. That said, a lack of adventurousness is compensated for by very reasonable prices. It's clearly a well-run local restaurant, valued by a regular clientele. Most importantly, the food is often exceptionally good, and it's worth eating there for that factor alone.

This restaurant is easily the best restaurant in this area. The food is excellent as is the service.
We are regular visitors to the restaurant, and have tried several dishes on the menu, I can honestly say we have never been dissapointed.
