I had previously been to the adjacent Tea Room but was keen to try the restaurant situated next door. Visually its beautiful and a good place to make an impression. Unfortuntly this is what you will have to pay for to take in the surroundings as opposed to the food. I opted to go on a Monday evening it was fairly busy and our waiters/ress were attentive. The food is over priced and average - Bland with lack of flavour compared to similar food where I have paid 1/2 of the price. Doubtful I will go back good place to try once but not to repeat.

Worst service ever.. I went with my friends and fiance as it was her birthday.

Upon entering with two of my friends the staff outside made a funny comment about me entering with two girls at the same time. I mean really, you are trying to be funny but everyone has a different sense of humour and you have to understand everyone's culture before blabbering whatever comes to your mind.

The staff took ages to take out orders and even longer to deliver it to us. The food was nothing special and the prices were crazy. I would rather spend this money in a 100 other places in London then here. I admit the decor and atmosphere is good but that alone is not enough to cover for the poor service and ridiculous prices and the poor attitude of the staff, we were dressed very smart so dont understand their issues.

I was not allowed to bring my own cake for my fiances birthday, I completely admit the restaurant had its policy and I had not checked with them, but this is poor customer service if they cannot help and arrange anything for me especialy as they know the occasion was important to me and we had spent good money in that place.

As a very fair customer, let me tell you this, please burn your money but do not go here, well unelss you have enough money and can afford to put it on fire :)

I went to momo's recently for a friend's leaving do and this restaurant by far is over rated. We booked to have drinks at the cafe terrace. We were not greeted in a pleasant manner, the manager in charge was very rude and the waiters were so up themselves. They obviously do not have a clue about customer service. It's a shame as much as the restaurant boasts great ambience , it did not live up to the expectations.

The drinks and food are overpriced I won't be going back again.

The food here is good, but if you don't like being ripped off and having abysmal service don't go here. We were rushed out after less than 2 hours there (my friend had not been told that the booking was only for 2 hours, though the waiter insisted she had been told). We were bundled off to a very uncomfortable seat in the cafe area after our allotted time was up.

The toilet in the main area is very dark and full of dangerous obstacles.

It's not worth paying prices like these for when the customer is treated so shabbily.

It started off so promising. Good food and a beautiful environment, but I am afraid neither made up for the woefully incompetent service. At least we weren't being singled out for poor service as the tables around us were complaining too.

It is ironic that the restaurant makes a big issue of its two-hour table turnaround. If they want to turn over tables quicker, they would be better getting the orders right and on time.

Went to Momo few days ago as i have seen the show on Gordon Ramsay and wanted to give it a try.

First of all the warm welcome from a beautiful smiley hostess at the entrance of the restaurant whom actually took us to our table was a very good first impression of the expectations that i have in mind.

Everything that followed the nice welcoming was absolutely delightful and enjoyable.

The food was succulent; i have been to Marrakesh many times and believe me i was much more impressed with Momo`s dishes; the pastilla, the cheese briouats and the scallops were cooked to perfection.

The lamb tagine as my main was heaven, perfectly spiced, the meat melts in your mouth. My guest had the fish tagine and same, the delicious lemony flavors in the tagine and the combination of all the fish and the shellfishes; yummy.

The dessert were also another delightful moment; the chocolate date cake and the apple tart; i will totally recommend them.

The service was friendly, smiley and professional; some little mistakes were made but hey it was a busy night and we didn`t mind because of the smiley faces from the staff.

The whole experience was absolutely divine and yes Momo is a great place to go for dinner or to impress friends that are visiting or simply if you want to celebrate a special occasion.

Thank you to the all staff at Momo; i had a fantastic memorable dinner. I`ll definitely come back.

Went to Momo following the great comments made by Gordon Ramsay we opted for the set menu. Starters arrived cold but let that go as maybe that was the style. I had opted for a fish tagine as I do not eat meat, my husband the lamb. They served me a chicken tagine ?? the waiter laughing whilst he took it awaywhilst we complained. They then bought me a fish tagine, this was cold. This is unacceptable, the staff how no idea how to treat customers, we will NEVER go there again.
