Went to Momo few days ago as i have seen the show on Gordon Ramsay and wanted to give it a try.

First of all the warm welcome from a beautiful smiley hostess at the entrance of the restaurant whom actually took us to our table was a very good first impression of the expectations that i have in mind.

Everything that followed the nice welcoming was absolutely delightful and enjoyable.

The food was succulent; i have been to Marrakesh many times and believe me i was much more impressed with Momo`s dishes; the pastilla, the cheese briouats and the scallops were cooked to perfection.

The lamb tagine as my main was heaven, perfectly spiced, the meat melts in your mouth. My guest had the fish tagine and same, the delicious lemony flavors in the tagine and the combination of all the fish and the shellfishes; yummy.

The dessert were also another delightful moment; the chocolate date cake and the apple tart; i will totally recommend them.

The service was friendly, smiley and professional; some little mistakes were made but hey it was a busy night and we didn`t mind because of the smiley faces from the staff.

The whole experience was absolutely divine and yes Momo is a great place to go for dinner or to impress friends that are visiting or simply if you want to celebrate a special occasion.

Thank you to the all staff at Momo; i had a fantastic memorable dinner. I`ll definitely come back.

Went to Momo following the great comments made by Gordon Ramsay we opted for the set menu. Starters arrived cold but let that go as maybe that was the style. I had opted for a fish tagine as I do not eat meat, my husband the lamb. They served me a chicken tagine ?? the waiter laughing whilst he took it awaywhilst we complained. They then bought me a fish tagine, this was cold. This is unacceptable, the staff how no idea how to treat customers, we will NEVER go there again.

Really bad service - staff far too much up themselves to, you know, be bothered to serve food and drink in a restaurant. Overpriced and mediocre food. Avoid.

I went to Momo for my birthday with a group of friends on a fthursday night. Really amazing place with great atmosphere.

We had the set menus as we were a large party, really worth the money. The starters came and it was a great selection of what you can find in Morocco. The scallops were exquisite so was the pastilla.

As a main, we decided to go for the traditional couscous for most of us. The lamb was really well cooked and marinated that it melted in your mouth.

As a surprise for the dessert my friend organised a birthday cake for me, the all restaurant was celebrating my birthday with us as they have a special way to to bring the cake, we ended up dancing around our table for about 15 minutes.

Would recommand this restaurant for his great food, friendlys ervice and great atmosphere.

Being a regular since so many years, I just love the food, the tapas on the terrace and in the cafe are amazing when you want to enjoy a nice summery evening in London.

The restaurant is for sure the place you want to be for a night out with friends, staff are so friendly and full of energy, food is amazing, especially the couscous and tagines.

Prices are pretty much the same in most restaurant in West end except that you won't find such a great ambiance anywhere else.

I would recommand this restaurant to any open minded people who wants to have an unforgettable evening.

Went out for a friends birthday for a few drinks before going for dinner. The manageress was very rude to my friend for no reason at all, we had a table booked but it's was for the bar downstairs which is separate to upstairs, instead of investigating she was just a disgrace. However the manager and waitress for the downstairs bar were lovely treated us we should have been treated And even charged us membership prices for the occasion. The atmosphere and ambience downstairs was definately worth another visit but upstairs will be avoided for the attitude of the staff.

Echo the comment below.

Had misfortune to eat & drank there last week for a friend's birthday. All the staff (one lovely waitress aside) seemed to spend the entire evening glaring at us for daring to be there and all things ordered were brought very grudgingly. The manager in particular seemed to be very surly and when I tried to speak to him effectively told me to get lost.

Oh & the food was really really really average, especially given the high prices charged.

Tourist trap, avoid like the plague
