Great atmosphere and, I thought, efficient and friendly service. The food is good but somewhat overpriced for what it is but that is hardly to be unexpected in the restaurant's great location.

We have just had lunch at Momo and it was one of the most relaxing lunches we have had in ages. The service was impeccable and friendly. The food was delicious. The lunch deal makes the whole experience extremely good value for money. We had time to relax and enjoy the food and also were able to ask the waiters for advice and recommendations. The food presentation was very good and the flavours out of this world. Definitely highly recommended!

After having read some of the reviews I must say that I couldn't disagree more with the ones bashing the staff. I've been there a couple of times and you can rest assured that the waiters/waitresses at Momo are polite, forthcoming and eager to make your visit pleasurable. Also, the atmosphere is great and whenever I looked around me the other guests seemed to be enjoying their meals too rather than having disputes with the service. What I'm trying to say is, don't be put off by complaints about the staff, they are lovely and will respect you if you respect them too.

Gordon Ramsey needs to pay a visit to this place on Kitchen Nightmares.
The food is over-priced , the portions are of minimal proportion, the Staff are rude , The drinks are outrageously priced £4 for half a glass of tepid cheap lager. The atmosphere becomes soured when you put the other factors into the equation.

Went to Momo's on Tuesday the 11th of March, I was very dissappointed in the lack of service if there was any. I have been to many bars, pubs and restaurants before, but this is one of the worst. Considering the fact that Momo is in central london you can only expect high prices, so fair enough.
I specifically went to Momo to see Hadar Manor's live gig, I was put on the guest list, yet they charged me for the entertainment. The first thing the waitress said to me was to move tables because the ones I sat at were reserved, only that they were reserved for friends of Hadar, which should therefore include myself, yet I was still asked to move. I ended up eating standing up.
I ordered a small dish, 2 cokes and 2 half-pints, the bill came up to £49 for one. And that excludes the extras:
- Cover Charges
- Live Entertainment (even though I was told it was free for those on guest list)
- Service Charge
And to top it off they included a portion of pitta bread which I never asked, they said it was included in the dish. WRONG. They even charged me for this.
The food was okay, although mostly dry as if it was cooked at least 4-5 hours in advanced.
The only thing that I was content with was the atmosphere, only because there was live entertainment.

We went to Momo Tea room on Saturday with our friends. We all agree: the food was ok but nothing special, the "highlight" of the evening was the service: the rudest staff ever met so far in London city - maybe if they kept the food, the decor and changed the staff, we might reconsider going there, otherwise, simply forget about it!

We had heard this was a great restaurant, and my boyfriend took me here and we had a great time! The food especially the monk fish was wonderful and the ambiance was perfect. And our server took very good care of us and all of the staff was so friendly, I definitely recommend this place great for a date or a small group!

We went here on Saturday night on as recommendation and can categorically say that we will NOT be going back. Admittedly the food was good, but unbelievably overpriced for the portion sizes, (like 3 tiny skewers of duck for nearly £20 or the veggie couscous which was a small pile of couscous with a few carrots). The decor was also nice, although we were given a table that was far too small for our group. What really ruined the expereince though was unforgivably rude staff. We were treated as outcasts for arriving 20 minutes late (after our cab got lost), peered down on throughout, and one of our group had dirty cutlery dropped down her by a waitress who didn't even apologise. Suffice to say we didn't pay the hefty 13% service charge. And to add insult to injury only one ladies toilet was working!

The staff in this place are unbelievably rude.
I booked table for me and my disabled mothet for her birth day. She is in a wheelchair and was made to feel as unwelcome as possible. They spoke to us like dirt and at one stage the waiter said he hoped we realised that we had only 2 hours at the table and there would not be any sympathy for her 'condition'.
They have a massively overrated opinion of themsleves and the food and atmosphere do not warrent it.

My husband booked a table for 4 for my 32nd birthday after hearing good things about this restaurant. We were told of the 2 hour time limit when we booked but thought that this would be long enough time for us. We had all been looking forward to the meal all day so we were all rather hungry. As soon as we sat down at a very low table the waiter came came over with the menu and asked if we wanted cocktails, and tried to get us to order bottled water when we just wanted tap water. We decided to order 2 plates of starters to share between us which arrived very quickly they came with a dipping sauce on each plate. We hadn't finished this course when they came over to clear the plates and they took both plates with the sauce on dispite us still eating and when we complained the waitress claimed not to understand what we were talking about. I'd ordered a vegatable tagine and when it arrived it was lamb, everyone elses meals had arrived so I called the waiter and he took it away without saying a word, then the original waitress came over and apologised that she had made a mistake and that my meal would be out in a few minutes. The rest of the party started their food and we kept asking the waiter where my meal was and they kept saying that it would be here soon. Twenty minutes passed and my meal finally arrived, however everyone had already finished their meals. The waitress did say that she would give us my meal for free which was good, but not really the point when you have come out for a birthday meal and its ruined by an incompetent member of staff. We were going to stay for dessert and more drinks but this error made us not want to spend anymore money or time where we were clearly not wanted.
Not once did any of the waiting staff ask if we'd enjoyed the food and they cleared all the plates and glasses away from our table and didn't ask us if we wanted anything else. They had made us feel like we were in the wrong for daring to complain. When we complained about the service the waitress made us feel bad for complaining, she was very defensive. We also questioned the service charge they had included onto the bill and refused to pay it, but she again stood over us making us feel uncomfortable whilst we were checking the bill. They spoilt what was supposed to be a special birthday treat. I would never go back here, there are fair better restaurants elsewhere for half the price.
