My brother booked a table in Balham for the 8th May as a treat for our brother in law who is over from New Zealand, so turning up to find the restaurant CLOSED and they were clearly have some issues with their landlord based on the note pined to the wall was a major disappointment.

They could have sent an email informing us they had problems as the booking was made a week before, so never got to try the food or ambiance, but I wouldn't bother if this is their attitude to customer service.

Went a couple of Friday's ago with my wife and my parents. Starters were awesome - we had some bhajia, samosas and paneer to share which were all very tasty. For a main I had lamb biriyani, someone else had a prawn rogan, there was a lamb korma (I know but my Dad likes it) and a chicken saag. The biriyani was unctious, great gravy and the meat was very tender. I had a quick go on the chicken which was also very good, well spiced. Generally we were all quite satisfied with our food. From a personal perspective it could have handled a bit more heat but that's being a little picky. The atmosphere was a little quiet, the service was good. Expensive but not outrageously so.

this place is a complete waste of time and money. Disgrace to indian cuisine and it's shocking that people would be willing to pay such prices for such bad food. Banglaseshi restaurants serve better quality meals than this. If you want to try an authentica Indian I suggest go down to Bombay Palance or Gay Lord and then you will realise what authentic Indian cuisine is. !!!

While the service was attentive without being intrusive, and the food flavoursome, I have not been to this restaurant since last year having been blown away on my previous visit. I left feeling dissappointed. The menu is nowhere near as attractive in its breadth and depth, and worst of all the ambience has gone from opulent days of the Raj to mid market hotel chain

We found the flavour of the food to be average, the meat content was very poor, we waited over an hour and part of our order wasn't correct. We might as well have got a microwave curry from Sainsbury's

Bombay Bicycle Club always used to be pricey, but worth it for the fantastic food. Since being taken over, the prices have stayed the same but the food and service have gone totally downhill. The last couple of times we ordered, the food was bland and cold and half our order was never delivered. Don't bother!

We ordered a takeaway from here and it took over an hour to arrive and then was cold! It was also pretty pricey and definitely wasn't worth the money. Very disappointing

Horrible food and service. It's not like how it used to be before. I can get better food than that in my local curry house. The food was bland with no taste at all. I will not be going back anymore.

I have been yesterday in Bombay bicycle and I like it very much. It was my first time.

I really enjoy the decoration. It immersed me in a relaxing atmosphere. I felt myself like in India.

The food was also great. We chose Tandori mix grill with channa masala and Gosht kata masala. The tandori was very tatesful and it has less than 10% fat!! So, perfect!! The Gosht was yummy and I really enjoy its garlic sauce, It was amazing!! As a complement we took pudina paratha and pulao rice.

As a dessert we eat chilli chocolate. That was the first time I ate spicy ice cream, and I found it delicious.

The waitresses were very friendly and they served us very quick!!!

Good food with no wait, perfect mix!!
