Horrible! Don't waste your time! Food took ages and when it finally did arrive, the pasta was hard, undercooked and bland. Staff ignored us most of the night and when they did actually speak to us were incredibly rude.

Wish I had read the reviews before entering this place. The manageress was rude to the point of being nasty. The toilets were filthy and the food was mediocre at best. I have given a better service rate than it deserves only by the fact our waitress was very good!! The only part of the experience we enjoyed.

We had the misfortune of eating at Bella Italia on 13th Oct this year and it was the worst Italian we ever had. Bruschetta was terrible, wine tasted lousy and the main course was precooked frozen stuff served lukewarm. We felt thoroughly cheated. Eat there at your own risk!

The whole meal was disgusting, and there was nothing resembling Italian cuisine. The pasta dish tasted similar to something out of a supermarket ready meal. The desserts were definitely not made on the premises. I will never eat at a Bella Italia again and recommend you avoid this chain.

Overall I would recommend Bella Italia but the manager in this particular branch was very rude. There were 3 couples waiting to be seated crammed in next to the door and the guests already eating. Despite having 3 empty tables of 4 (which were really suitable for 2 but they had put 4 chairs around) he refused to seat us there and was very rude when we asked. I didn't feel i could stay in this restaurant after and went elsewhere.
