Bella Italia (Victoria)

Very impressed with the service and the food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. It was a very nice experience. The restaurant seemed a little cramped but that was only a minor problem. Overall I had a fantastic meal and will definitely be going there again.

I went to Bella Italia this afternoon with my kids, service was appalling! The waiter took our order but clearly didn't write it out completely. When my food didn't arrive, I asked another waiter and he said it was not ordered and that it would take a few minutes. When it arrived it was wrong but gave me the rest of the ingredients on a side dish so I guess I had to add it myself. The restaurant was not busy, I'm not surprised. The food was quite good I have to say. I then asked for straws for the kids drinks. The waiter said they didn't have any and walked off. His colleague heard and kindly brought straws over. I didn't leave a tip and I won't be visiting the Victoria branch again. Considering The restaurant is located in a busy area, I thought it would be a great place to dine. I was clearly wrong.

My family had a booking for a party of 10 for my niece's 21st on a busy pre-theatre saturday night. We were delayed after our matinee, and by the time we arrived the table had been understandably given away. The manager Guido worked wonders to fit us in nonetheless, even though we were a sizable party. When we sat down (at a table decorated with balloons) we had half an hour to order food and drinks before some of our group to go to catch a coach... it didn't look too hopeful...

Our orders were immediately taken, with advice on the fastest - still a wide selection. Drinks quickly arrived, followed in record time by all our dishes at once. The food was exceptional - butternut squash risotto and mushroom pasta especially delicious, pizzas and salads likewise great. The staff were incredibly cheerful and attentive and joining in the party spirit of the chaos we'd caused ourselves.

Highly recommended. Thanks to Guido and all the staff . Brilliant. We'll be back.
