Memories of India

without doubt the best indian restaurant in London, and I've been to some of the most 'renouned' indian restaurants in London. The decor, very friendly and welcoming staff, combined with the unbelievably fresh and gorgeous traditional indian food makes the entire experience a memorable one. The problem is, once you go, you'll keep going, I go around 3 times a month and I see lots of familiar faces, so your not just taking my word for it. Its really fashionable too, everything from the bathrooms to the tables, the pickles and the lemon hot flannels you get at the end of the meal, its just all 1st class- and all at amazing value for money, usually I spend £30 including a bottle of wine for two people.

Excellent food - I particulary recommend the murgh tikka - and really nice location. Great service and a friendly atmosphere. I've enjoyed many a family gathering at Memories and can't fault it.
