My friends laugh at me because whenever I say I'm going out for dinner as they know where I'm going...Double Espresso! A brilliant local restaurant serving fantastically authentic cusine and very friendly staff! Best restaurant in Balham! Only downside - cash only!

I am rather annoyed that people have started reviewing Double Espresso as I would prefer to keep it to myself!
Clearly the best Pizza place in Balham, or in fact South London. (I always chuckle to myself when I look at people eating processed pizza in that fast food joint that claims to be Express, whilst thinking about what they are missing out on.)
The food is great. Pizza Double Espresso being a particular favourite. The ambience of the place is fantastic- friendly and cosy- perfect for either a long or short stay. The people who run the place are all lovely.
In short, if you are in the area you must make a visit here.

Excellent place to eat! Delicious italian food!You can come and eat during the day or evenings.It is very convenient!

We've been coming here for years and it's by far the best place to eat Italian food in London. Authentic food, great value and excellent staff.
We've eaten at Michelin starred Locanda Locatelli and still think this place is the best!

This restaurant in my option is the best in Balham, it is family owned and serves the best itailian food I have ever tasted, it is great value for money and the service is great- would recommend you try.
