Mr Poons Peking Cuisine

Ive tried most of the chinese restaurants in the area and i believe Mr Poons is by far the best. The Staff were very friendly and i have taken friends and family there for birthdays and they were very welcoming. The disco is always good fun, my only quarely is the price of alcohol, but short of going to the pub down the road you will not find it cheaper in any of the other restaurants in the area.

We really enjoyed going to this restaurant until October 2007. I think the owner changed. Suddenly, the service was unnacceptable, the food was unspeakable and the prices were unimaginable. Needless to say, the restaurant is frequently now empty (when I pass by) of customers even on Friday nights. I would welcome other eaters reviews in case ours was a one off.

I recently had the opportunity of visiting Mr Poons. I was one of a party of 14. The service was excellent the food was fabulous and I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant. It was a Friday night when we went along and the disco was very good. The lady singer was excellent too.

One of our party was a vegetarian and the food and quantity of the food was tremendous. Well done Mr Poons.

I was so impressed that I am planning to hold a work meeting at Mr Poons in the very near future.

I have eaten at Mr Poons several times, I would recomend their Elvis nights (Thursday).

Whilst the service is okay, the food is not the best Chineese in the area.

I have only eaten at Mr. Poons a few times so they don't know me from Adam but I have to say their welcome has always been a warm one. The attention and service is excellent and their food is second to none. I know that when I go there I am always going to enjoy the evening. It's fun to let them decide what dishes you have. I have no hesitation in recommending them to you.
