Shocking service here appears to be the norm rather than an unfortunate exception, based on giving the place another try some months after the last disastrous visit.

The cooked breakfast arrived about 40 minutes after ordering (25 minutes after the accompanying tea, of which part I had been saving was getting very cold). A skin had already formed on the beans and the scrambled eggs could have been cooked at any point since, well, Thursday.

Funky decor is no compensation for the steep prices and absolutely clueless staff - don't expect any acknowledgement (still less an apology) for the wait or cold food

Absolutely love it here. The food's great and the service is attentive and friendly. If I ever feel like eating out and i'm at home, this place is always top of my list, I would recommend it to everyone!

From outside Blue mountain looks like a really cool funky cafe, but once you get to know it, you realise that it is overpriced, poor quality food and the staff have become more and more unhelpful and unpleasant recently. They are clueless about dealing with food allergies (such as egg, nut and dairy content of food) and are often rude and sarcastic to customers. Although a few of the staff are really nice, the owner / manager and several other staff often treat their customers as if they are an irritation, and act as though you should be grateful to be there at all.

I think this place could be great, but suffers from its own unjustified popularity which has made staff and management complacement and as a result standards have dropped.

What a little gem. A one off that can't be repeated. They give you a really friendly welcome. I love it so much because you feel part of a community. The food is great, there's always something on the specials board that I can't resist, and the cakes are to die for - very classy.

The music and vibe are relaxed and modern, very vibrant. I love to sit on the terrace surrounded by the amazing mosaic decor and watch the world go by.
