My wife and I have been to this restaurant virtually every six weeks and have had a fantastic meal every single time! The service is friendly and prompt, and the restaurant has a lively atmosphere. I have taken several friends to this restaurant and everyone agrees it is the BEST ITALIAN around!!

I can only think that anyone who disagrees with this verdict is probably a disgruntled rival restaurant who cannot match Mimi E Coco's high standards and price.

Have lost count of how many times we've been there since discovering it over 2 years ago, but on average once a week. We love the atmosphere and the food. We've taken lots of people there and everybody has loved it. They serve the best Penne Arrabiatta I've ever tasted (and that includes many restaurants in Italy itself). It gets very busy and lively on Fridays and especially Saturday nights, if you're looking for a romantic meal, go earlier in the week. Maybe also avoid very busy times like Valentine's, New Year's Eve or the run up to Christmas, as it can get a bit hectic and loud.

I have dined at Mimi e Coco's several times. The food was excellent, every course, every time. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere warm and vibrant. I completely agree with someone's previous comment of 'best Italian in Surrey'..in my opinion it by far outshines the other restaurants in the local area, at any rate, and it has become a very solid favourite for both myself and my partner.

I would definately recommend this restaurant to all! Oh Yeah!

I have been to this restaurant three times now and never experienced a bad meal. The staff are friendly and accomodations. It seems that from the previous few reviews that maybe they struggled a bit at christmas and maybe over crowded the restaurant which is never a good thing so maybe they can re think that for future busy periods (i.e. christmas) but generally i would recommend this restaurant!

I cannot understand anyone not finding this to be an excellent restaurant!

The food is as you would expect from a good suburban Italian Restaurant.

Service is unobtrusive and friendly and the cost - reasonable! A lovely experience

all round.

On New Years Eve this year we took 2 very good friends to MIMI E COCO in Cheam, what a mistake this turned out to be, having booked over a month in advance we were put in a very overcrowded / busy walkthrough entrance, the menu was very limited and the main course of steak was not avaliable but a substitute steak was offered and we were assured we would not know any different, 3 of the substitute steaks were inedible and as a result of this were not eaten, at no point in the evening did anybody ask if everything was o/k, they had obviously packed as many people into the restaurant as possible, the staff were clearly overstretched and as a result of this we as customers had to suffer.

We wrote a letter of complaint voicing our views 2 weeks ago and to date they have not had the decency to reply, my advice to anyone thinking of using this restaurant is DON'T!!!

Tried this restaurant for the first time on Friday evening after seeing the rave reviews. Unfortunately I cannot concur with some of the comments. I agree that the staff are friendly, the atmosphere excellent, only to be let down by the poor quality of the food .. My mother's and my wife's starters of crab and mango were good as was my ravioli. My wife's veal escalope was thin, dry and tasteless and the tomato sauce with the accompanying spaghetti was thin and watery. My mother's lamb chops were extremely fatty and gristly and apparently tasted bland. My calves' liver with bacon was very good however. So a slightly disappointing introduction. All very rustic with little finesse. We will try again and choose differently.

Went for dinner on Thursday night and can recommend. Atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming and the service is friendly. I chose from the specials board and my starter and main course were delicious. Puddings were average but perhaps I made a wrong choice.

Overall delicious and can't wait to go back!
