Sagar (Twickenham)

I feel very sorry for 'ammie' who reviewed earlier - I have visited Sagar in Twickenham more than a dozen times now and have never had less than a delicious meal!

In fact I think it's so good that I have taken friends, family and business associates, meat-eaters and vegetarians, fans of Indian food and cautious cuisine choosers - and they all say more or less the same thing: When can we go back?

The food has always been wonderful and seemed fresh, the service is friendly - not perfect, but eager to please - and the ambience relaxed and welcoming.

Also, even including wine and beer, it is seriously good value for money!

I have also been to the Hammersmith restaurant, where the food was as good, but the atmosphere far less relaxed.

Long live Sagar!
