not the best food i have eaten...food seemed not to be freshly prepared........service so so for a greek restaurant.

I tried this restaurant for the first time a few weeks ago with my girlfriend and the kleftiko and afelia were both excellent. We enjoyed the place so much I decided to have my birthday party there. To make things simple i just asked for the meze for everybody (15 of us), which gets rave reviews here, and it was really good. Everybody was impressed with the food and the vegetarian meze was good too. The staff are very friendly and good fun. If you like greek/cypriot food you will not be disappointed by Yia Mas.

These comments are absolutely true, we both loved it. And everything is perfect- from the decoration to the food, and the service ,including the price !

My boyfriend is half Greek and we have a tradition of going to a Greek restaurant on his birthday. After some research I found Yia Mas and reading the reviews, decided to give it a try.

It was a little bit of trek from where we live, but we had the most amazing evening there it was entirely worth it. I cannot recommend it more highly!

We decided to go for the mezze selection, which at £15 per person was unbelievably good value. There was so much food, it just kept coming! The pace was perfect though, we had enough time between courses to let the food go down a bit, so we had more room. We were absolutely stuffed at the end of the evening!!

I couldn't believe it when the bill came, for so much food (including baklava whic we were both surprised we could manage!), 2 bottles of wine, coffee and brandies each, it came to £70 for two. The best value meal I've had in a very long time.

With that, the service was so welcoming and friendly, and with not being rushed through, which is so common in London, it was a perfect evening. We will definitely be going back!
