This was by far the worst restaurant I have ever had the torture of dining in.
It was for a birthday party for a group of 10 people, and the staff lacked basic common sense in serving customers. There was a mismatch in the menu arrangements, we were told to place our orders, then the manager tells us it will be buffet style, then the waiter takes our order again!
We were told a free glass of sangria for the the entire group, when actually the two small jugs would only serve about four people. The starters were cold, and the waiting time between the starters and main meals was two gruelling hours. Personally, I'm a great fan of north african food - but this was far from anything great. The meat was obviously pre cooked and boiled with the feathers still on the chicken, the rice was completely undercooked and the so called deserts was non existent - six baklawa pieces for 10 people (this is where the common sense part lacked in the staff). I have been to restaurants where they serve mass baklawa's with greater quality mint tea.
I must say for £25 per head, I would have much rather thrown my money at the horses at William Hill, than to have gone through the torture of eating poorly cooked food. Please take my advice and avoid this place lke the plague!

The food isn't cheap - but its good. However - when we saw the mouse walking across the wooden floor, i thought it must be the Moroccan beer kicking in!
But no - it was real - and the mgmt seemed totally indifferent! Amazing!

had a great time last weekend the atmosphere was electric (definitely helped by the belly dancer) and the food (although too much) was incredible. we were there with a few friends so we opted for the set menu, which consisted of almost the entire menu. although the service wasn't very quick the staff were most entertaining and very freindly. certainly going back again, maybe this time just for a romantic meal for two.
if you do go ask to sit on mo's section (fantastic waiter).

This restaurant is Ok. The furnishings and atmosphere are good, but the food altho fine wasnt anything out of the ordinary, and the service was a bit slow . The set menu sounded a lot better than it actually was. Also it seemed very expensive for what it was. Don't think I will be returning.

Atmosphere and decor great, food was nice but dissappointed by the bill. Written bill came to £50 but were then told to add £30 onto the bill for wine - of which we could pay the £30 in cash, all sounded very dodgy and spoilt the nice evening we had.

a great restaurant i alwats dine u#out at least twice a week and i find that it has brought something new to soho. the food wasn't 100% traditional but was defintely very good. what it lacks in the food it certainly makes up for in the atmosphere. you cant help but leave in a good mood. i find it is one of the best maroccan restaurants in london

The food (we tried the vegetable couscous, mixed grill, carrot salad and olive bread) was alright, but nothing to write home about. I was hoping for classic couscous aux sept legumes but it was mainly cabbage and carrot - at £10 probably made about £9.70 profit. £5 was 'accidentally' addded to our bill, although it was refunded when we pointed it out (service was already included). The belly-dancing and gaggle of annoying posh blonde girls from Clapham didn't do much for the atmostphere. This place will probably do alright from all the tourists in the area but food-wise, it's underwhelming.

The worst restaurant in london in term of telephone service. when you ask to speak to the person in charge/owner they will tell you that the person is in a meeting, if you call them two hours later, two days later or a month after it will be the same answer. A rubish montality which i hope they will give it up if they care about their business. all the best

Was there last night (friday) and the atmosphere was buzzing. Delicious food, friendly staff, and most of all a beautiful belly dancer! This is a perfect place to eat before going clubbing - the belly dancer enticed me to dance and really put me in the party mood - the music was great too and very authentic. You also get a choice of whether to eat upstairs or downstairs, downstairs being a little bit louder and upstairs being more appropriate for a romantic meal. Definately would recommend this great new restaurant if you're into the whole North African vibe.
