Green Chilli

I have been to this lovely resturaunt several times now and have never been let down.The food is just amazing and certainly different from the same old dishes you get served up at most other indians.The service is very good with the staff being attentive but not hovering over you which can be annoying.Everyone is EXTREMELY polite and there is an overal nice feeling to the place.It was my GFs birthday and they remembered me mentioning it offhand when I booked and went to the trouble of serving her a strawberry cheesecake and icecream concoction with candles on it!!!!Well done - it made our night.

ps - do try the nans.They are made with your choice of flavours and are the best I have ever eaten anywhere.

Went to the restaurant recently and thought it was excellent. We visited in a group of 6 people for a Saturday lunch.

The service was of a high standard and the food was extremely tasty. Portion sizes were not huge but large enough to fill you up when sharing in a group.

Overall we paid £95 with service charge for a meal for 6 and everyone was sufficiently full.

As a very nice touch the chef came out to meet us towards the end of our meal.

Will be going back there again!

best restaurant in london. me and my 3 friends went on friday the 31st of august

the restaurant was quite full we orderd lamb chops and mix grill execellent taste

the mains were also suparb fantastic service. this was my first vist to green chilli

i will say best food i ever had in my life. great value for money.

I'm afraid I disagree with most of the reviews here. While the service was fine, I found the food to be, at best, bland and not at all worth the money you pay for it.

When a dish is decibed as spicy it shouldn't taste like its been flavoured solely with tomato puree. In fact most of the dishes we tried were loaded with tomato- that was four mains, and two sides. Even the biryani tasted just of tomato.

Also, they do not seem to know their cocktails well enough. I'm sure a margarita is supposed to be a short lime and tequila cocktail, not a large glass of pineapple juice with three olives in it! They have the cheek to charge £7 for that..

The atmosphere was ok- alittle bit noisy and I found the decor looked sterile but nothing horrendoud

I would not recommend this restaurant.

I threw my bf's surprise birthday dinner here on Sat. Oct 28th and was extremely pleased with this restaurant's accomodation. It offered a delectable party menu with more then enough food for value ( 10 hungry people and we still had 4 take-away bags at the end of the night). The staff was attentive without being intrusive and the food preparation and presentation was perfect. Pick this restaurant for a guarenteed enjoyable dining experience.

Excilent food and service. i have been to more then 50 indian resturant in london.

but green chilli is totaly difrent from other indian resturant . perfect portion and taste with excilent presentation and service.

hi, i came in with my work colleagues on saturday evening. the food was great and the service was good. my favoruite dish was the indian lobster and the indian duck. i want to thank green chilli for this lovely time. keep up the good work.

im a great fan of indian food..liked it since my childhood..lastweek i was in hammersmith with my wife 2 visit my in-laws,there i saw a very attractive signboard saying greenchilli indian cuisine..could not hold myself back and ended up there..i was emazed with the presentation of starters and the service provided, the food was simply immaculate..had a duck shaslik which is quite rare to find in indain restaurants and was great...i would recommend...

i came into Green Chilli with my family to eat. i was really suprised to see the excellent atmosphere of the resturant along with the helpful staff.the foods taste was great with lovely presentation which i have never seen before. would recommened it.i would like to wish green chilli all the success for the future.
