The service is absolutely awful, two queues and one person serving on a Saturday afternoon. Terrible, wouldn't recommended at all if you wanna wait less then 30 minutes for your food.

I know Leon generally have a good reputation, but I'm going to stick my head above the parapet and say I don't agree!

In trying to recreate the continental format of eating on the street, what they've ended up with is basically a mess. And there is no service to speak of. You sort of bundle towards the tills and shout out what you want when you think someone has made eye-contact with you. Then you get served and take your own food back to your table - which is hopefully still free.

I suppose if you go in here with a good pair of ears, you're fine.

The food itself is no better than Pret or Eat. I'm giving them 5, which means 'they are doing their job'. There's nothing wrong with it. But there's nothing that makes it stand out either.

I just can't write anything particularly glowing about Leon, since, in my opinion, they just don't deliver anything that's outstanding enough to be praiseworthy. I see it as fast-food joint with a brand name.

Leon is a great place for a hearty lunch and healthy food.

Food here has always been great though they don't change the menu often.

The only downside are the shared toilets. For a reason that I have never understood, women ALWAYS take ages when they go to the toilet and hence there is always a long queue for the ladies toilets, while there is rarely a queue at the men's toilets.

The problem with the shared toilets is that as a man, I now also had to queue for the toilets which were all hogged up by women. gggrrrrr !!
