I'm Italian, and believe me, I know what a good Italian restaurant is. This definitely is. Went there tonight with my parents. Prices were surprisingly low (about 13 for 2 courses, 15 for 3 and 18 for 4 courses, if I'm not wrong - this includes any course besides side dishes) which made us suspicious. Just the time to get our starters and we forgot that. Food was very tasty, very finely topped and dressed and well presented. We had fish as main course, and it was terrific. My parents also had desserts, both good. We enjoyed different kinds of bread (served with olive oil) and an extreme careful service; there is to say that it was just 2 tables, so they hadn't much to work. Best of all, we paid 58 , got out satisfied, topped and definitely glad of having chosen that place. I think Sunday's menu is an exception on prices, other days must be more expensive. I'll definitely come back again and again, perhaps on Sundays. Ambient is also warm and comfortable. A must!

My partner and I visited Via Condotti on Saturday 3rd November for her birthday and we had what I can only describe as a near faultless night. When booking I specified that it was for a special occasion and on arrival we were given a great table by the window.

The service, food and wine were of the highest standard and all contributed to a very fine dining experience.

The menu available to diners (including vegetarians) is both reasonable in price and interesting in its choices.

Highly recommended!

Just had a 4-course meal with my wife. Almost all the dishes were excellent., simple, good ingredients, just like the best Italian restaurants in Italy. The dining room, service, and especially the quality of food makes this a real gourmet bargain given it's only £32 for 4 courses. The wines by the glasses were very good. The bread and olives were great beginners for the evening. What we liked best: Scallops, Ravioli, and quail. For dessert, we have the millefolgie and the tiramisu, both excellent.

It was not my first visit to this place last night and i will be sure to go again.

Skipping lunch, my friend and I planned to hit the fixed price menu hard, this time it was to be the four course option.

All the food here tastes fresh, whether it be the crispy endive salad with goats cheese or the sausage and pear stuffed pasta. One criticism would be that on my many vists i have always found the pasta to be a little too thick but this would be fussy at these prices.

The oxtail main melted when forked and the classic desert of expresso over ice cream defines the restaurant. It is clean and fresh, something so lacking even in more expensive establishments.

Service was bang on, our cherub looking waiter the right mix of enthusiam and professionalism.

The money is made on the wine and it does bump the price but the food is worth the total cost.

Reviewed by the Sunday Times magazine as a 9/10 i would agree.

Booked this restaurant a thursday for a birthday dinner for 2. Excellent restaurant with fresh product and reasonable prices. The service was good and not intrusive. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We sat on the first floor which is smaller than the ground floor room but also more quiet and cosy. I would recommend it!

Friday evening party of 6. Impressed with the quality of the finely prepared dishes and further impressed with the service. Food was superb, service was attentive and we left feeling more then satisfied by the whole experience. If you want excellent Italian food, stylish surroundings and atmosphere to go with it _ this is the place.

Food o.k., not pricy by London standards but would be anywhere else.

Service is pretty useless; you have to ask for everything (bread, water, aperitif, wine list etc.) twice before they bring it.

For some bizarre reason they also squash everyone into the back of the room, leaving all of the tables at the front empty. Maybe they want passers-by to see that there are tables free. What they in fact see from the street is an uninvitingly empty restaurant.

I wouldn't hurry back.

Bad bad bad bad

Did not enjoy it one bit. Food was awful. We had 4 courses and each one was tasteless. I had the spaghetti with pork sauce for primi and it honestly looked as if it had been slapped on the plate with a large chunk of cheese on top - not indifferent to how I serve my pasta at home. I can't even recall what I had for secondi (yes, ti was that immemorable), and the dessert tasted stale. To top it all off the waitress flooded my champagne glass when she was serving and walked off leaving most of my side of the table (not to mention the glass) drenched. At the end of the evening I was so disappointed I felt I had been slapped by a smelly wet fish. And paid for the privilege.

Great service, great atmosphere, good value for money yet the food was a disappointment given then quality of reviews.

We had a selection of seven dishes and each one was barely of average quality. Example-The beef with polenta had stretchy meat with unflavoursome grain. The sauce in the starter of aubergine tomato and mozzarella matched the sauce that accompanied veal.

The redeeming feature was the quality of service and ambience. GIve it a try, maybe I had a bad night.
