I had lunch and selected 3 course menu at GBP29. Not too expensive. I can feel the efforts that each chef had put into preparing every dish.
Overall, I think the quality of food was good but not to the degree that I want to go again and again. However, if there will be a chance I go to London again with friends, I may suggest to go and try.

Appalling. Not even worth a brasserie menu. I guess it is the problem when restaurants turn into franchise and a brand, they stop producing high quality food to sell a concept. A great disappointment over all. Stale bread and a cooking that is neither inventive nor done with the fresh ingredients. Service and wine were good but the rest is not even worth mentioning. There are so many good places in London that offer much higher standards at a lower price (e.g. Pied à Terre, Gauthier, Arbutus, Wild Honey, L'Autre pied, the Greenhouse, etc.)

We enjoyed a lovely meal here. The bottle of Condrieu Les Cassines at just over 100 pounds was worth every sip...outstanding! The portions are small but the dishes tend to be on the rich side so this really does suit the portions. There's plenty to choose from and I do wonder why I don't go here more often...very good indeed!

We had the exclusive wine tasting menu, £ 215 and we were four. It was a bad experience. There were some highlights, especially when it comes to wine; the sommelier was very condescending, though. We are knowledgeable about food and wine and service - he obviously had no idea and we did not enlighten him. No self respecting 2 Michelin star sommelier would let a commis pour (she was actually the only nice thing about the service). The food was uneven, god only knows why they got 2 stars. Waste of time and money.

Love, love, love this place! Me and my partner have been eating at this restaurant for over 2 years now and this is our favourite place to eat, and that is saying something as we've eaten in some really great places.
The service is always fantastic and we are treated like royalty every time we go there, which is great considering the amount of money we've spent in there! That said this isnt always standard as other top restaurants that we have visited many times before have made no effort to make us feel like welcomed returning customers .
The dishes are great and we always have 3 or 4 starter portions which is plenty along with the amuse bouche. I always go for the same thing, beef carpaccio, baby beef burgers with fois grois and fries, and the quail and mashed potatoes. I honestly can say that nothing is too much for the kitchen staff and I'm fussy......I change the fois gras in the burger to cheddar cheese and its never a trouble for them!
The ambience is great and its always buzzing in the downstairs restaurant, which is why I always choose to sit down there.
Staff are great and know the menu in and out, cant praise Karim enough (in charge downstairs) as he always looks after us.
Great restaurant, yes its pricey but well worth it, and they do the greatest mash you will ever taste.

The atmosphere and decoration are great, but the dishes are tiny, tiny, tiny but veeeery expensive. We paid £120 (no wine - just water, 2 people) and I was very hungry when we left the restaurant. Food does not taste exceptionally well and is just not worth the money. If it's possible just go there for drinks at the bar after or before a propper dinner at a good restaurant.

We ate here for lunch, choosing the special £27 three course deal that seemed quite attractive.
Service is friendly although the annoying habit of offering an expensive appertive or champagne before you even see the menu is annoying.
The starters were oeuf en cocote and Jerusalem artichoke soup, the soup was good but the oeuf had a funny aftertaste. We both had the skirt steak as a main course. It was reasonably well cooked but it remains a poor beef cut.
Desserts were not bad but certianly lacked the wow factor.
Wines were good but of course pricey like all the drinks.
So overall not bad, but is this really a 2 star Michelin restaurant? If you eat a la carte or the tasting menu you would definitely feel ripped off.

Came in here for lunch last month to escape the Christmas shoppers and all told had a pretty good meal.
The place looks stunning, lots of reds, greens and blacks. The bar area was busy and buzzing, but we ate upstairs which was a little more subdued. The menu is modern French with tapas style portions, so we had about 5 dishes between the 2 of us. The filet of beef with foie gras and the macaroni cheese with chicken were the highlights. Prices were very high for the size of the portions but the food was of a high quality.
The wine list was as expected top heavy on French and very expensive, so we went to the USA and had a great bottle of Pinor Noir from Oregon for about £50.
Service was good, our waiter new the menu very well and was very friendly, he was unable to sell us the main course of the day though, but that might be something to do with the £100 price tag (homemade pasta with shaved truffles).
Overall a very good food in classy surroundings but with prices to match. Would go again and take advantage of their set lunch menu next time.

Went there for my birthday last year. A cocktail, 2 starters, a main dish, a glass of wine, a selection of dessert, a coffee and two bottles of water for less than a hundred pounds per person in a michelin star place, I would say (very) good value for money. Food was great stunning, small portions but very high quality food. I wasn't hungry went I left. Personnally if I go to a place like that I don't want to eat like a pig. I don't want to be fed up after the starter. I want to be able to enjoy each part of the dinner.
Atmosphere is friendly, calm, professional and relaxed. Waiters don't make you feel that you're a useless piece of rubbish just because you're young and do not wear a suit. Really enjoyed the 3 hours I spent there. Very good experience.
I'll definitely go back.

I went here for lunch using Top table deal (22 pounds/head).
The presentation of the food was really good and the taste was also good.
Italian waiter was friendly but a bit too pushy so that he can make us spend more. Overall, good experience.
