The Club Bar and Dining

This place has shut down now, which is probably for the best as it was one of the worst eateries I've ever been to.

Wanted to complain to the manager about our steaks but the manager was unavailable and they trotted out the grill chef who said that he was Finnish and that in Finland everything is underdone.

The people we were dining with had the sausages, which were none to clever by all accounts!

Don't even waste your time...The food is overpriced, tasteless, cutlery was dirty and the service is slow. The waiter even had the cheek to argue with us because he felt the tip we were offering was too small. The manager was just as rude when we complained about his behaviour.

We booked this resturant with a special meal offer and were pleasantly surprised. The bar staff were friendly and helpful and a special effort was made to help with a meal for a child, The portions we were served were certainly not small. they were well cooked and tasty. The dessert was especially good The staff on duty made the whole experience most enjoyable. The whole party had a great evening and the special offer on the food and a glass of wine included made the bill a pleasant surprise for a meal in Central London on a Saturday night,

This is the worst dining experience I have ever had!

The food was completely overpriced and was disgusting! I had a celeriac lasagne that was served on top of a bed of salad! It was just a pile of mush sitting on top of a bed of salad it looked nothing like a lasagne and tasted really bad.

My boyfriend had the smallest steak I have ever seen, it was served with exactly 3 chips. It was so small he actually ate it all in one mouthful and it was ridiculously expensive!

Apart from the awful food the service was also terrible! We went on a Saturday night but the restaurant was completely empty and we were ignored all evening.

There is a club in the basement of the restaurant but you have to enter through the restaurant and pass all the diners who are trying to eat in order to get to club which is very annoying! This was happening every other minuite as people in the club were going out for cigarettes which also made the restaurant freezing and stinking of cigarettes, not the most ideal environment you would dine in!

And to top it all off the restaurant was playing the same music as the club was, heavy dance music (whilst dining)!? Is it just me or is this ridiculous?

By the way I'm not a snob, I am 25, I love dance music and I am a smoker, but this is just ridiculous?!

Went here last night and had the Valentines Day set menu. The food was completely over-priced and not particularly nice. The crab fish cake was tasteless and the brownies are far superior in the supermarket. The portions were small and pretencious and for what we paid, pathetic. What really irritated me was the fact that the lounge which we were told would be open and had planned the rest of our night on it being open, was shut for no apparent reason. Will never be going back here again. Over-priced and over-rated
