Brasserie Pierre Restaurant and Lounge Bar

Had our Christmas party here and would not go back. Although staff were friendly and the service was good, the food was dreadful and they were running very low on wine (which seems silly when they have a party of 30 booked in for Christmas). Having said that, most of the wine was disgusting anyway.

May be very nice for lunch and evening meals but I would definitely stay well clear if you're planning your Christmas party.

we went with my friends for lunch with no expectations,but once in the brasserie the staff was very nice and the menu with choice for everyone.when we saw our plates,it was amazing!!!!!!!!!very big steak and my friend duck magret was just superb. very good food.

we will go back for sure

After having read the reviews my expectations were high.

I had the duck for the main course, and my guest had the rib eye steak. We were both disappointed with our main courses as both the duck and the steak were not very tender. The French fries were dry and hard, and the spinach was not the sweet baby spinach I would have expected in such an establishment.

On the plus side the service was well timed and efficient. Staff were pleasant.

In summary, the prices are ambitious and the quality of the food fails to live up to expectations a rather disappointing experience overall.

laughable - they include service charge AND cover charge AND leave space on bill to leave a tip.
