Mez Bar and Restaurant

A hidden gem, I would say. Unbelievable that a place like this exists in London. Genuine Turkish food at non-London prices. Great ambience and interiors. Good service and Fridays and Saturdays I think there is even belly dancing and singing.

My favourite Turkish in London and also Docklands, where there is a dearth of good places to eat besides the chains

Went there for lunch on a weekend in April with a friend and really liked it. Food was good, atmosphere was nice and servers were attentive. When we told the owner/ manager (?) we lived in the area we got one of the entres free. (actually i think this is just a lunchtime special now). Definitely a must try and a departure from the usual fast foody stuff in the Docklands.

Hello world

My fiancee and I had dinner at Mez this evening. We were really impressed with the number of complimentaries - bread and dip, starter drink, turkish delight and tea. (but they do add service charge)

Overall the food was very nice, great atmosphere and the live singer was very good. Perfect music for a meal. Will definitely return and we highly reccomend it.

So far, one of the best restaurants in Docklands.

Food very good, even if much better fish than meat.

Service is good but could be very good with little more attention to details.

I was very disappointed by the quality of the food at Mez. The servings were small and the prices were high for the quality of food that was served to us. Mez should serve good wholesome and tasty food, like the superb restaurants on Edgware Road.
