Third visit in 3 months and have to say this place just gets better and better. Food is great tasting, simply presented and very well priced.
Service is possibly the best in London, wine list is short but covers most areas and the atmosphere is great.

Second visit to St Germain and had another great meal.
The food is good and at a decent price and the service was again outstanding from our Australian waiter. The place looks good and has a nice buzz when it fills up.

Saturday night at St Germain and to echo the previous review, we had great service from someone who clearly takes pride in what they do.
Food was good and at a decent price, room was nice but only half full but still a nice buzz in the place.
All told 3 starters, 2 mains, 2 desserts and 2 bottles of wine and service came to just over £100.
Will be back!

Went for dinner last night. The bar was buzzing, but relaxed. Bar man was friendly and charming. We moved into the lovely, airy dining room and experienced, I quote my companion "probably the best service I've ever had in seven years of living in London".
There was not a sniff when we orderd tap water - ice filled glasses and a carafe of water were speedily brought to our table. The waitress was knowledgeable about the wine list and all the specials.
The food was tasty brasserie fare, the starters marginally better than the mains. Reasonable prices and great service means we'll definitely be back.

Went to St. Germain for lunch. Wonderful setting, if hidden away slightly down Turnmill Street. The food, however, was not wonderful and the service was friendly but slow. The cauliflower soup to start was watery and tasteless and the gorgonzola tortellini tasted very strange with some very odd and unneccessary flavours added to the dish.
Overall a dissapointment as I had high hopes for this place.

Went there on a Tuesday night and the place had a really nice buzz. They do 2 for 1 cocktails between 5 and 7 pm which went down a treat. The friendly barman recommended daiquiris with a rum that I’ve never heard of – they were delicious. All of the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and they even let us try a few wines from the extensive list before we decided what to drink. The food was very well executed comfort food, the steak tartare amongst the best I have had in London and the goats cheese tart was also excellent. My rib eye steak was full of flavour and perfectly cooked. Skipping dessert we were persuaded to try the house speciality of espresso martinis. A good way to end the meal. All in all, St Germain is a hidden gem – I wish there were more restaurants like this in London. We’ll be back for sure….

It started off really well, with a nice warm welcome from the staff. The atmosphere is great with high ceiling and very modern decor. The food unfortunately does not live up to the appearances. We ordered salads as starters and cote de boeuf for the mains. The salad was very very ordinary especially and the cote de boeuf was just not up to it. I would go back again, but not to eat.
PS: They have a buy one get one free on cocktails on Tuesday and Saturday nights, which is useful.

Went on a quiet Monday night: the food was good brasserie fare (poached egg with smoked haddock, tasty if slightly tough bavette). service was informal, attentive without being pushy. The set menu is good value, and there are several wines available by the half-litre. The room is pleasant although some might find it a little too brown/beige. Well worth a try if you are in the area.

Nice place. Airy venue, well- spaced tables, and well-designed banquette seating that doesn't result in you being too far away from the table. I agree with the comment below that the service hit the right balance between respectful and friendly, the waiters all came across as very likeable without being intrusive. We had a carafe of tap water, and they kept refilling it without being asked, instead of leaving it empty in the hope that we'd order more wine as a result. The food wasn't startlingly good, but there was nothing wrong with it either, and the prices were reasonable. I think the food may have been a bit slow in coming, but we were too busy talking to notice. I'll definitely go back.

Went there for lunch recently and being a vegetarian means that very occasionally you end up ordering something with meat in it by mistake. I did this here and felt very bad when they brought my plate out and it had Pancetta in it, but I was amazed at how accommodating they were!! Not once did they make me feel that I had inconvenienced them or make me feel like a useless idiot for not reading the menu properly. The staff were very friendly, the restaurant itself very relaxed and welcoming and the food was great. Couldn't ask for more!
