Little Hallingbury Mill

Myself and my partner have booked our wedding here in August, so we thought we would try the food out before hand, and what we tried was absolutly lovely, from the starter to the beef carvery and dessert all very well cooked and delicious, Derek and his staff were very helpfull and continue to be that way whilst everything is being arranged for the big day, he is improving the hotel day by day and as you know rome wasnt built that fast, we look forward to our return visit and know that we will all be looked after very well.

This is our most local restaurant and to be honest was a real disappointment. The food was really nothing special when we went to a sunday carvery there. I got a really bad response when I asked for a yorkshire pudding with my chicken as the guy serving from behind the carvery told me that these were really for people having beef. He made me feel so awkward that we have not returned... I'm sure he was one of the guys in Hale & Pace.

The owners really lack in the customer service department and trying to win people back is obviously not high on the agenda.

Stick to B&B and greasy fry ups..... sorry but don't bother wasting your time or money there ... go to Antons.

Recently visited for a family birthday. Location, food and service could not have been better and great value for money. Staff very attentive and ensured that our table of ten had a lovely celebration meal. Would definitely recommend.

Do not waste your time and money going to this restaurant, such a lovely location but the food, service and facilities are absolutely appalling. I'm surprised this place still has visitors, the website is highly misleading.

A group of eight of us visited this restaurant last night and I have to say it was the most awful experience. The service was appalling and the food completely inedible. We did complain, but just got a very rude response. I would most certainly NOT recommend this restaurant.
