This place is like home from home, its so cosy and friendly. The food cannot be faulted, I had fish and chips and it was the best ever - and a nice large portion! I'll be going back here without doubt.

The menu has improved lately but the staff are a joke. They have cornered the market in appaling service.

One one occasion there I ordered prawn and avocado salad and they had forgotten the prawns. When I mentioned this the waitress told me it wasn't the first time it had happened that night. How hard is it to remember to put prawns in an avocado and prawn salad???

My wife and I walked in there on Saturday at 5pm, the place was empty but they wouldn't let us have the table we wanted and instead tried to put us in the backroom.

I wish I had been a fly on the wall when the waiter turned after leading us to our back room table to find we had left the restaurant (and gone to the excellent Tree House across the road?)

There are lots of things you can excuse in restaurant but bad service is not one of them.

This place is not cheap by any stretch but it is woefully bad value
