The Waterside

We ate here in a very large group and the restaurant was very busy so I was very impressed when we were served such good food! The mains were particularly good, a succulent piece of pork belly with vegetable and a perfectly cooked fillet of sea bass.

The house wine, both white and red, were both very good, much better than your average pub. Service was generally good, attentive and friendly but a little inconsistent.

Would definitely consider visiting again especially for somewhere to eat out on the river.

I have been to this pub many times, great location, nicely set out, staff are a bit slow but very polite. My criticism is the lunchtime food, can you please hire a chef, I am only ever disappointed by the food, over cooked or under cooked never inbetween, bread is often old.
