The Worship

Now... this is a gem not to be missed..The worship is now under new management and you can you tell. The décor maybe the same but scratch the surface and it’s new Chef, staff, offers and excellent menu (we are told from the once chef of Sax in the City).

Haven't been to the worship since last year, we were walking past and the place seemed busy again... always a good sign at lunch... the staff were courteous and found us a table quickly in light of how busy they were.

The menu looked great (excellent selection including traditional and fusion delights) but what was the taste like... well... first-rate and the quality was second to none at this price. Highly recommend the 'Worship Burger', Chicken Tagine, and all the small bites :-). They got one item wrong but quickly corrected that, and seemed a little slow with the main course... but it was a busy lunchtime (Friday).

We will be back to the worship again and again.

Since being taken over, on a recent visit to The Worship our night was ruined by extremely bad management, through lack of comminication with staff to an extremely rude Manageress. When ordering drinks we was at first advised that there was a happy hour until 6.30pm. When going back to the bar for some more Happy Hour drinks, once all the drinks where ordered, we was then advised that the Happy Hour was no longer on as the til would not accept the Happy Hour this being at 6.20pm. We reluctantly paid our bill to find that the was a £6.00 service charge on the bill.... These drinks were ordered at the bar!!! On complaining the Manager she was extremely rude and I honestly dont know how she can run the bar in this way. This will definately be our last visit to The Worship and would definately not recommend this bar to anyone else thinking of visiting.

This is one of the worst bars in the City for service.

We have just waited 1 hour for a drink after placing our food/drink order only to be told, on complaining, that the waitress had not put our order through the till because "it is busy"!! We then cancelled our order.

In the meantime we'd bought our own wine from the bar. We asked for a refund on this for the inconvinience of waiting and the attitude of the manager was absolutely disgusting.

I implore anyone not to visit this place.
