This has got to be one of the worst restaurants I've been to in a long while. In a rush before going to Sadlers Wells, we decided to give it a go. The white wine wasn't cold and was left on the table without a chiller, The fish-cake looked like it had been deep fried in crude oil, the rib-eye steak was thin and so badly scorched that it was bitter and the (French) fries were limp and barely warm. To top it off, the steak was accompanied by half a raw tomato covered in dried parmesan.

The service was also terrible. My companion and I were referred to as 'gents', which I object to, as this term should be reserved for its lavatorial connotations.

Two main courses and a bottle of warm Chardonnay. £50 including 12.5% 'service'charge, if you can believe it.
