We went for lunch/brunch at Brompton Quarter Brasserie today, upon our arrival there was not a seat available in the house they were absolutely full we asked the manager for a table for 5 without even hesitating he informed us that in a couple of minutes he will have a table ready for us. We got a table right by the window which was fabulous as it was my mom's 70th B'day. We were served by a friendly waitress from Italy wich explained the menu to us and took care of the drinks straight away. Our meal was good but my son's cheese burger was very raw and not medium well at all. The manager came over and apologised took care of the burger straight away and in minutes my son had a fresh burger wich he loved, the service was absolutely amazing and as you think things can not get better with our desserts there was a candle on my mom's cheese cake ,do not know how they knew but they did what a touch for service 10/10 taking in consideration the were so busy but they took 5 minutes and took notice of us.

Some mix reviews about BQ Brasserie, which made me think before booking my table, but once you read the content and the quality of the writing of the negative reviews you soon realize that these reviewers are not normal...so I booked a table for 8 of us to have our New Year's Eve dinner, it was amazing!!!! The food, the service the music everything jelled so well, my friends were highly impressed with my choice of Restaurant.

I truly recommend this place, and from now is on my favourite place list.

to all this place is joke from the head chef to the manager. i had lunch with my mum last monday and to be honest i prefer to eat at KFC then pay my hard money on that food.

we are eating then we see head chef joking inside restaurent. i asked waiter who is that chef. he told me he is the head chef. i looked then i asked him for bill then we left soon as possible. food very expensive without taste.

never ever be there again.

It was my birthday this weekend and my boyfriend surprised me by inviting 16 of my good friends to BQ Brasserie, we had a lovely table set up downstairs, food was exquisite, and the service very attentive.

I not only had an amazing lunch at Brompton Quarter Brasserie, but could not believe my eye when I saw Madona, Jesus and her daughter Lourdes seating just next to me, wow!!! I felt so lucky, and surprisingly nobody was making a fuss about her presence, just as if she was a regular customer.

I loved the place by the way, is great!

I would not be surprised if all the good reviews are written by the owners of Brompton Quarter which are fluffing around the restaurant on a weekly basis messing around the service and mistreating the staff in a very rude manner.

I have booked a table there few weeks back on a saturday lunch. Arriving there the place was crowded, we have been greeted in a too much of a friendly manner by the maitre d'hotel. I was amazed and stunned by her lack of manners since the moment when we stepped into the place up to the point where we found out when asking one of the waiters that she was actually the OWNER of the place along with her husband which was serving the food??

I was dissapointed with the quality of the food, could have been better eating fish and chips in the pub, salads from the so called salad bar, were soggy flooded in oil and very unnappealing, the so called seafood linguini was cold and acidic, service was kind of sloppy and disorganised, waiters were shouted at every now and than by this women, creating a very tense atmosphere between staff which unfortunately was reflecting badly on the general atmosphere.

What a fiasco lunch, most definitely i will not get back there ever again.

I immensely disagree with this person bellow, I love Brompton Quarter Brasserie, the food is so fresh and delicious, the staff are all extremely friendly and you can see how much they care about customer service, from the moment you enter the door you are greeted by someone who will take you to your table and make sure you are well looked after.

I am a regular at Brompton Quarter Brasserie and I saw this review by change as I was looking for their phone to call for a take away, and I am taking the time to tell any other reader to ignore any negative comment about this place, please check it out, it is beautiful and they have a wonderful selection of food, and a very friendly and professional staff.

I also had a horrible experience here, one has to believe the positive reviews are by the management or people that work there. Portions, while fine tasting are very, very small and expensive. That is ok, except the service is rude and unattentive. When asking the manager for assistance you would think I was asking him to solve world peace. He is too interested in socializing than helping run the place. The wait for a drink or something to eat is too long. One of the girls working there, a waitress, assistant manager or something barely understood me, it seemed she did not speak English very well. That may be fine for staff or a fine French restaurant but not a casual place in the middle of a tourist and residential shopping area, her English should be good enough that she can understand what I am saying. It appears my English accent was too much for her. I am surprised this place can stay in business, I would avoid it.

I had breakfast with a colleague here, and it was good. The service was attentive, the food came exactly as ordered and, while not cheap, you are choosing to eat in one of London's more expensive areas.

Big windows and a large open restaurant make it feel rather less atmospheric than some alternative venues, but this is breakfast after all. It is perfectly suitable for a business discussion, unless yummy-mummies and their screaming children come in later than we did.

Certainly worthy of a visit in the early morning; I will leave others to report on the evening trade. Howver, I would probably choose the neighbouring Brompton Bar and Grill for dinner, which has more character, is smaller and provides equally good food and service

I am not really the kind of person who writes reviews, but felt I had to do this one as I really need to recommend this place to those who like good food. It was a just alluring, the flavours are still playing with my taste buds.

I loved the décor, and the staff made me feel at home.

Please my apology for my enthusiasm, but when I saw a negative review from someone about this place I felt really bad, as it is totally untrue, at least by my own experience.

I wish you go and try it yourself, it is definitely worth it.
