Overpriced. Terrible service. Rude staff. Revolting food.
I have to say this is the first time I have ever felt moved enough to write a review online. If you are considering paying this establishment a visit heed my words - it is an unpleasant experience and you will forever regret the few pounds you chuck away drinking yourself up to a level of enjoyment.
It is a confused theme bar that can't quite figure out whether it is a family restaurant or a bar cum club. I actually witnessed a shot girl rock up to a family table and offer the dad a sambuca. There was even a toilet guy at 3 in the afternoon.
The food was so terrible and expensive I can't express my irritation enough. First of all a 40 minute wait. Then a bowl of chips so small I don't think it can justify existing - £1.60. Then a cheeseburger with no cheese, burnt bun, overdone meat - £7.95. Then a bowl of chilli fries with no chilli on it - £2.95. Now I don't know if it's just me but I expect chilli fries as in chilli con carne on chips not chilli as in a red chilli seasoning on chips - google image it, I'm right! I never actually complain and when I had a go at the waitress I felt bad but I was so wound up by this point. I used to be a waiter and a bar man so I know what it's like when you get an annoying customer. On the flip side I also know when I get bad service. Bar staff terrible. Waiting staff terrible. Rude obnoxious and arrogant.
Seriously NEVER EVER go this establishment. They steal your money and treat you like a mug. A round for two is a tenner. Next time I want to watch the footie I'm going to a standard pub. I feel sorry for all the tourists who get absolutely robbed by going there.

Quite possibly the rudest and slackest restaurant staff in London. They really did think that they were doing us a favour by serving us. Service was painfully slow, the food was stodgy and lacked flavour; which is disappointing as my friends and I previously lived in NYC and enjoy American style food. We should have gone to Smollensky's or Chicago Rib Shack for an authentic American meal. Tourists and Londoners should avoid this place unless of course they don't mind being treated disdainfully, being ripped off for a below average meal.

I have never come across a ruder bunch of people in my life! The bar staff are vile, they think they are doing the customers a favour by serving them. The staff on the floor are equally rude. I will never go in there again, and I will advise friends and family to go elsewhere too.

Hi
We visited Cheers for a few drinks and for food - food and service was excellent, atmosphere was great, football showing to keep the husband happy. Biggest downfall was the ladies toilets (do not know what the men's were like). Complained after we had eaten just in case

I went to the Cheers restaurant for a birthday dinner. We each had the clam chowder for starters which was thick, full of clams and yummy! And some of us had a cheeseburger and others had the steak - it was all decent food, around £9 a head for 2 courses which isnt bad. There is no denying that Cheers isnt a Gordan Ramsey restaurant, but its good American style food and the restaurant area is very cosy, and the bar afterwards is very lively, with great cheesy pop tunes. All in all a great birthday. We would go back, yes.

Myself and a few friends entered Cheers bar located in Picadilly Circus, London around 8:00 under the pretense that we could see the NY Giants playoff game. We where on our way to the sports bar down the block (next to her Majesty’s theatre), and decided to give Cheer’s a try when we saw the large sign out front that advertised "WATCH THE NFL HERE TONIGHT".
We spent 4 hours at the bar, drinking and patronizing the business to the tune of some 100 plus pounds.
Only to be rudely cut off from the last 7 minutes of the game. When some unknown Cheers employee insisted on switching over to some boring talk channel on sky sports, when the game was in it's climax. Not to mention that the channel switching was going on for some time before that. I tried to speak with several of the staff about this and was rudely brushed off by all of the help. I was finally directed to a gentlemen working the front bar who simply told me, "I could talk to security" By that point the game was probably over. I have never been treated so rudely as a customer in an organized and seemingly professional establishment.

There is a really great buzz in this big bar restaurant. We went for an office leaving dinner party and had a fab time. We sat down to dinner at 7.30pm. Most of us had either a burger or steak. Very reasonably priced and they do the best Long Island Iced Tea! Then around 10pm, the dancefloor opens up and there is a dj til 3am. Yes its american, yes its cheesy, but it was a great laugh, great fun!

Hi we were at the cheers yesterday and we were not happy at all! First you have to wait around 20 minutes on the bar until you get your drink and then the doorman kicked out some people for no reason and told them they never want to see them again, which is not a standard of a Cheers Bar. I really go there often but if such things happen I will go somewhere else!

I can't think of a better reason to go here than they don't let US Army in - good work doorman!
